just find what you like in coloring books or ads in newspapers or just about anywhere and enlarge them that way you have yard decor that no one else has. that is what I have done and people will stop by and ask where I got the patterns. I did one of the cutest snowman you ever saw that sears used for a backdrop for portraits. it was in the paper and once they changed their drop I enlarged it and it is one of the best snowman patterns I have.also just your regular patterns enlarged out of your tole books make great ones.I have a book I bought long ago that is called yard art, but you have to enlarge them also. hobby lobby has the same patterns that the winfield collection carries. you can go to "winfield collection.com and look at theirs, they have a bunch.

Anj, these are just great! So big and bright, bet you didn't use your favorite iddy biddy brushes on these! LOL I miss you and all the gals from here. We had allot of fun didn't we? I picked up a paintbrush today for the first time since last Christmas! Have a friend who used to paint so we decided we should do a project together to maybe get us back into it. I'll try to remember to post a picture when we finish the project. I looked through several of my books recently so the interest is returning somewhat. Still have lots of cute patterns I'd like to use. So what got you started on doing yard art? Are you doing your own cutouts? Using the jig say probably right? I hear you, Toomuch!! We got 5 inches of the white stuff here in Mid-Michigan! How depressing!! Just when it felt like Spring had really arrived. Arghhh! They say it's supposed to turn into rain tonight so I don't imagine the snow will hang around too long... (crossing ALL my fingers and toes!) Just wish I could stay home and play with broken dishes tomorrow, instead of driving in this mess.

Thanks all for replies and opinions. rhizo_1, I did come upon those after posting. I like the golden swans, (I can't stop myself with the birds). They seem a nice motif for a MBR. Except when I zoomed in on the pic they have angry-looking expressions... The largest size available is around 25 x 25, so it would require a lot of mat & frame.
