how to change rights for a limited user

How can I change the rights for a limited user? I created two limited user accounts as an administrator but I can't figure out how to add or remove programs and how to allow for access to certain folders. I probably missed it when I was creating the accounts, but now that I have them, can I go back in them to adjust them?

I'm the only one who ever uses my computer so I don't have user accounts but in the control panel there's a user's accounts icon which when opened has an option to change accounts.

This I can do as I have to often. As bob414 stated, log on as yourself (Administrator) and go to Control Panel. User Accounts and click on Change an Account. Click on the user and change them to Administrator. Just don't forget to switch it back after they do 'whatever.'

Search that Hkey local machine for the key name RegisteredOwner But if you formatted the drive and reinstalled win98, during the install if I recall,, it asks for registered user name. Which would have been the opportune time to input 'Donald Duck' as the registered owner. Perhaps oem cd ? now its registered to Dell or whomever with no user name,,, would think there's no reason to make that key until you imput a user name.

Hi Raven, I tried that and it says the limited user does not have the right to do so. It won't let me delete it. Is there any way I can delete the shortcut in the limited user account while I'm in the administrator's account? Does anyone know about the itunes question, please please please??

No you are correct you have to change the permissions on the account so that is forbidden. Make sure you have not just added too many options in the extra users group ie:you have not just copied all the rights you have to them.
