Mosaic virus is rarely, if ever, fatal,in its self. It can weaken plants,so that they are attacked by other pathogens.The plants also can become such poor perfomers that they will be discarded. Some varieties have much more resistance than others,and will grow and bloom quite well,while the insects transfer the disease from it to other plants.The other plants may not do so well. It's been quite some time since I have bothered to even mention the "L" word here at GW Apparently it's not a very popular suggestion here amongst the GardenWeb'ers, but none the less, the most reasonable, safe, secure, oh yeah,and free too answer to: >>> Should I renew my membership or should I use something else. you are right they want to be able to sell you their protection my guess it would be McAfee or Norton based which are much more resource hogs than the free MSE or Avast. any type of good AV program can slow you down some, depends on the program some are much worse than others. Any program that runs real time uses resources that is how it works period.
