Can't see my photos on Pinterest

I'm an avid Pinner on Pinterest and suddenly, I see blank pins where photos should be; however when I rollover the blanks, I can see the pics so they're there just not visable. The only change on my computer was trying to get Chrome off my browser which is Firefox. Somehow it started loading as my home page. It took awhile but I finally got rid of it.

Now all my other websites work fine except Pinterest & I can't figure out what went wrong. My computer (hp-Vision AMD) is not quite a year old and I use Firefox as my browser.

Just now I tried to log on after deleting all my cookies and history. Now I can't even do that! Other websites seem OK but of course my passwords are mostly gone.

Anyone have any ideas?
I really enjoy Pinterest & can't presently use it. Thanks.

For the log- in issue try logging on here see link.

For the picture issue
disable the add ons in the Firefox browser :

To do that:

In Firefox click Help. In the window that opens click "Restart with add ons disabled.

Now visit pinterest. Let us know if that works, if it does an add on is causing a problem.

Zep, thanks for the advice but it didn't work so I guess it's not my add-ons. Now I can't even log in to get to the home page & 'help'. I tried an address from Pinterest when they sent a notice of others pinning mine but got a note back from a 'little robot' that suggested I log in and contact 'help'!

Then I got a notice from someone (they are in CA) to re-set password. Still didn't work. Re-set old password. NADA. Tried to log in with Facebook, didn't work. The odd thing is when I look at the pics others have pinned, I can see them. It's really strange and frustrating. Any more thoughts?

Chris, NICE job!!! Can you take a pic of the whole tree? Anirbn, My mom fell and hurt herself badly after she got out from a week in the hospital, so I totally forgot too. My bad. It started getting lighter in coloring..It was loosing it's vivid green look because the temps have gotten so cold. But I stuck it in the house and it seems to be coloring up again/. I will take a pic tomorrow..) I have been trying to grow it Bonsai style since I don't need it to be big and take up room. So it's pretty small..

Thanks again for your kind words. It makes sharing these photos so much fun. Tracy, regarding weeds: The rocks are a bit of a pain to keep weed free, so I cheat. I spray a little bit of roundup once or twice a year around the rocks, so I have a thin line of brown dirt next to the rocks. It's barely noticeable (you can see in third photo). I'm not happy with that, and am considering a small line of gravel or else planting something on the outside that can compete with grass. Still the Roundup takes about 1 minute to spray and I'm done, and it lasts for a few months. I spend VERY little time weeding. I weed only once in June, then cover all bare spots with shredded woodchip mulch. The mulch works wonders to keep weeds at bay and I don't weed the rest of the year. I do GET more weeds, but there's not too many and I just ignore them. I don't have time to keep my gardens pristine, and really you only notice the flowers. (remember, the secret is MULCH) Limequilla - yes, I did put a few packets of "Magic Fountains" delphiniums in the seed swap :-) They're nice because they don't need staking. Those are icicle pansies, not petunias, and I buy them from a nursery (about 50 cents each.) I'm kind of new at seed starting, I did some last year and was amazed that it actually worked! GGG - For years I dreamed of my place in the country, where I could have all the space for gardening. Now I finally have it :-) Hold on to your dreams!

Do you have add block on firefox? If so, disable that and try again. Could be that somehow, it has blocked you. Also, try IE and see if you can get on with that.

My friend couldn't log into pinterest the other day and since I don't use it couldn't help but this is what solved her problem. Mary

"On the side of my email page is a list that can be clicked. I had clicked the block that says "do not allow social sites". Once I unchecked it, I was able to get into my Pinterest acct"

Pinterest finally figured it out for me & I wanted to pass it on if anyone else encounters this problem.

It was an extension on Avast! Avast is now gone off my computer and everything's working as it should. Thank you for suggestions though.
