Right click the Hijackthis Icon and Run as Adminstrator if you use Vista or Windows 7 By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Click on Install. It will create a HijackThis icon on the desktop. Once installed, it will launch Hijackthis. Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad. Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" and Paste the entire contents of the log into your next post. DO NOT use the AnalyzeThis button, its findings are dangerous if misinterpreted. As I said above, I went into where bob414 instructed and after clicking the uninstall button, it just greyed out and the junk was still in the taskbar. But everything was crawling along. So I rebooted, and the computer froze at the splash screen. Finally, the computer limped to a start and I jumped in and did a restore to yesterday. After the restore all was well again and Finally the JUNK from the weather channel was GONE!!!! So for now, all is well. Anyone reading this.... Do not install that plug in, what a mess it is. You could click the start button, then search, for all files and folders with that name wordfast.dot or you could open My Computer, Local Disk (C:) and open the Program Files and look for the "Micorsoft" folder. You didn't give the full path, it's either C:\Program Files\Micorsoft, or C:\Windows\Mocorsoft.
