Anyone have Montel Williams 'Healthmaster' juicer/blender?
Comments (4)That is good to know. I looked at reviews at the Healthmaster site, which are glowing but all sound like they are written by the same person. Amazon's reviews are all horrible, that a part rusts within a couple of weeks & runs into the food/drink, the motor burns out shortly after purchasing it-the same type of complaints. The motor is supposed to have a lifetime warranty, but according to those reviews, the company response is not good. I really have a hard time believing the reviews, at $200 it should be better than that! I'm glad to know that your friends are having no problems with their machine. Mine won't get a huge workout, but several times I have made something thinking a blender would work better than my food processor, but no more than I would use it, hesitate to spend the money for a good blender. I make smoothies occasionally, & had thought about a juicer. When I saw this I was really excited to get it at that price, but the reviews were bothering me. I know $30 isn't a lot, but I don't want to even waste $30 on a piece of junk :)...See MoreBlender died...
Comments (12)Another happy Ninja owner - Ninja Kitchen System 1100. I needed a blender that would blend large quantities of cooked wheat for recipes in the book, "No Wheat Grinder Wheat Recipes" by Cindi Van Bibber, along with the other ingredients in the recipes - which will test the capabilities of a blender, to be sure.... I just couldn't go the price of a Vita Mix and really love the Ninja. Having the two sizes of "bowls" plus the other attachments makes it even more useful. Comments (20)Wow! Lou, that is world-class. You must have been really tired by the time you finished with cleanup. I dropped a can of bacon grease from a cupboard over the stove. It ricocheted off the edge of a kettle of marinara sauce, tipping it over on its side. About half the sauce landed in my shoes, the other portion evenly distributed between floor, cabinets and stovetop. Not fun at all. But the worst was after I'd dried cayenne peppers and decided to grind them. I learned food processors are NOT airtight. The whole kitchen was a cloud of red pepper dust. We were sneezing, gasping and wheezing for a week. Carol...See MoreImmersion blenders, anyone?
Comments (24)I really would like one which has an on switch that doesn't need holding in while using Well, you know, I can't help but guess that for the most part those have more powerful motors, since they know you can't hold on long enough to burn them out. I would expect an on/off switch motor to be correspondingly less powerful since you could let it run for a very long time....See Moredeeageaux
