What version of IE is installed? How many add ons are installed? Are a lot of tabs open in IE when you get the High Memory usage of IE pop up? You need to monitor the resources utilized by IE, and in case you feel that a lot of memory is being used the very moment IE is launched (ideally memory usage grows as you open more tabs, download data, or try to attach data to emails and perform other operations such as audio or video streaming), it is probably due to the fact that IE is loading with plenty of add-ons. Owbist - you articulated the decision factors beautifully. And that is what makes it difficult. Presently, all I do is load it on the camera and crop. I know I would like to be able to do some color/contrast/tone/brightening adjustments, be able to edit out troublesome aspects. Eventually, I would like to be able to clean older photos and change colors (I know I would have loved to have been able to change the colors of the walls in my house to assist with paint color choices). Whether I'd ever get to something like swapping heads or filters, I don't know (I don't even know what filters are). Another aspect that is important to me is good photo organizing tool. I've been reading reviews of software editing programs (many free), and the reviews don't even mention organizing photos. I'm not sure if that's bc. they all do it, so it's not the feature worth reviewing, or bc. they don't do it. A couple of more questions, if that's okay. 1) why would someone want to resize a picture? 2) what's the advantage to having a card reader get the photos on the computer, rather than just connecting the camera to the computer via USB? I think you're right Bostedo about the 3-year wait to reach full potential. In the lower picture in my above post, that plant is pretty much in full sun most of the day but is shielded by oak tree shade in the hottest afternoon west sunset, and it has never wilted for this reason, I suspect. It's in my front lawn bed that is on the south side of my home, gets about 4 hours of full sun a day, but the particular photo above was taken after dinner when it's in the afternoon shade from my neighbor's oak trees. It just thrives in that location. I cut it back to the ground every year and i comes back bigger and with more blooms. Hummers are on this one most days. The ones below live in the back yard garden in part to full shade. Hummingbirds go after them in all locations. First photo plant is in dappled shade most of the day. It's right under an oak tree and is just in its second season of growth. As you can see, the plant cluster below (several plants) are in full shade most of the day, are kind of hidden by a nandina on the left and a huge rose bush on the right. They have been here the 4 years we've owned the house, I guess planted by the previous owner. They don't bloom a lot in such deep shade.........but the hummers still find them and enjoy what blooms they have each year. Oh, and I think I've found out why the site randomly won't let me upload my photos. Don't know why it doesn't just say so (other forums software does), but I think it has to do with photo size. If the MB load is too large, it won't upload direct from my hard drive; if it's reduced 30%, it will. I just sized these down 70% with MS Paint and they all uploaded just fine. I'm glad I figured out THAT rather annoying issue!

caflowerluver, I was 19 and husband was 24. We had a 3 day wedding. Friday small ceremony and reception in the city I was born in, Saturday large reception and dance in the town near to where my husband grew up and then another big reception and gift opening on Sunday at his parents house. None of it was my planning but it was very important to his family who loves to party (Ukrainian) My poor born in England mother was a little overwhelmed by it all. 😁 My dad just went with the flow. My husband’s family planned it for the end of August as it wouldn’t interfere with harvest.🙄 My husband and I just told everyone to let us know where and when to be at these places and we’d be there. It‘s worked out wonderfully so far.
