However the advanced option that controls the behavior will still exist, because other parts of Windows will still use this functionality if the user chooses to enable it � just not the Address Bar. In Internet Options> Content> AutoComplete> Settings, do you have AutoComplete turned on for forms, usernames and passwords? Deleting AutoComplete data from Internet Options> Content> AutoComplete> Settings may reset AutoComplete and allow usernames, passwords and form data to be saved. You also want to make sure you do not have your browser set to automatically delete your history, cookies, temp internet files, that can affect how it is able to retain that info. using the google toolbar apparently will give you some of that functionality or using an add on like roboform there is a version of roboform free for IE you may want to read the site and see if it would work for you. I found this on the Rotoform sight: Q: How can I uninstall RoboForm? A: Select "Start -> Programs -> AI RoboForm -> Uninstall". If RoboForm the embedded uninstaller does not work, click this link: RoboForm Uninstaller. It will download and run a file that will uninstall RoboForm. If you did not close all browser windows when uninstalling RoboForm then the file RoboForm.dll will remain locked. However, you can reboot and remove the file manually.
