WANTED: Using one of my swap gifts...........

......tonight. Casual dinner with our neighbours. Using the beautiful coasters that Maria sent me. Also on the table is a candle that Shaun sent me a few years ago in a swap.

Sometimes life gets in the way of mailing swap boxes...my box will be sent out before the end of the month! I have the box...now just to find time to pack it up the right way! It should leave no later than this Wednesday!

I also love that bowl - it's great. And the edible goodies are mouthwatering. That's supposed to be The Word on Italian Cooking. I have the book, but have been too daunted to know where to start. Marcia - please do post any recipes you try on the discussions thread. And for the rest of you who have this book, please let me know which recipes you recommend. With over 1200 (and no editorial comments), I don't know where to start. Enjoy it all. Lynn.

Shelley, dinner was very simple and easy. Made Moe happy with a Caesar Salad. His request. He feels deprived because I don't make Salads often. Main course was Hoopysmom's Parmesan Crusted Halibut with Parisienne Potatoes and steamed asparagus. Dessert was a Marbled Chocolate Cheesecake tart.

Terri, I love those glasses. I bought them in an antique store a number of years ago. They are vintage Highball and Old-Fashion glasses with little coloured stones and Harlequin clowns in gold. I have 8 of each.

What a pretty table and so color coordinated. It's hard to belive there are items there from three different people.

Beautiful table setting Ann...love the glasses too..they are very cool! I'm just happy to see/hear you are yet again sharing good times and good food with your neighbors... there is a house for sale down the street...
