blocking photo saving

Please help. I am fanatical about saving pictures from the website PaleMale.com (totally allowed). This new laptop keeps giving me this message when I go to save one - This type of file is blocked. For more information, see Windows Help program (WinHlp32.exe) is no longer included with Windows Vista - I have no clue what is blocking the photos or how to find out. I know there is trend micro on here but have no clue what else. What do I do ? Please help. Sorry I've been such a pest the last few days. Thanks so much, Debbie.

Try right click and run as administrator.

I always scan mine and print them onto sticker paper then laminate them and take the back sheet off this leaves the front shiny.. I have also just used sticky tabs on the back of pictures if I am just using them temperary I used these for Table decroations for DD wedding with their engagement pictures on them... Just took them off replaced them and sold all the bricks with Christmas designs for Christmas... grace

Thanks for the nice comments and encouragement, ladies. I started following the quilt forum last year and am usually in 'lurk' mode. Zep - nothing works. As soon as I click save as - the message comes up. I even did a system restore and took out trend micro. I can email the pic & then save but I couldn't possibly do that to every one that I have to save. I think it has something to do with IE7 security. Or maybe windows security. I am getting that stupid info bar every time I blink. Debbie

Lets try another browser to rule out 1E7, link the for firefox below download it you should have 2 working browsers anyway, let us know if it works..

get firefox and use it, I have no problem at all right clicking and saving to my pc using firefox. Better than IE in so many ways. It is always best to have at least 2 browsers on every pc in case the default one decides to crash.

I can't believe you guys - you are ALWAYS right on the $. I just got off the phone with Dell XPS service. The tech guy put in Firefox. Said IE7 doesn't work & I shouldn't use it. He said it causes all sorts of problems and they can't be fixed. However - you can not remove it cause it is integrated with Vista. So you guys are right again! Thanks for all the help. Now I have to learn vista, a new laptop, wi fi AND firefox. Say a prayer for me. (and yourselves cause I'm sure I'll be here again) Thanks, Debbie.

I forgot - I will put it back on. I had a choice between mcafee & trend micro. I have mcafee on the desktop so I took the 15 months of trend micro instead. And of course - don't know anything about that, either. Debbie

LOL that is funny I posted at the exact same time zep was posting(his was not there yet) and we almost posted the exact same thing!
Well glad you got it working now. I never use IE except for windows updates and love firefox.
