Do you mean a HTML Code Editor? Here is Free Online HTML Editor 'sandbox' that lets you type in and manipulate text, links, images, objects, but it does not have blockquote exactly. It does have indent features that is quite similar to blockquote I believe. I think it is what you are looking for. There are also various free stand-alone HTML Editors around. Before I started raw coding from scratch in notepad and Blumentals Web Builder, my favorite was a free stand-alone application called NVU Web Authoring System. I am not linking to an external source just making HTML within the editing box given by Garden Web. So here's my dilemma. I can remove to extra bullets above the pics using (p) but I have to run all of my script together as follows: This is how it looks now with an "invisible" line of equal signs so that I can keep my entries separate. Gene, My need to code HTML is pretty limited. Mostly I post ads to Craigslist and adjust formatting within someone else's framework. No style sheets or scripts, so I don't need a full-blown editor, heck, a text editor works fine but can be a bit tedious. I was using SeaMonkey but with the latest greatest update it started adding "space" to my code. It didn't effect the output but there were lines of "space" within the code that seemed to grow with every save. Just annoying as heck. KompoZer seems to work ok, especially given the price but it wants to create code that meets the latest, greatest standards which doesn't always help me. Of course, if you need to manage a site with many files, Dreamweaver's site management tools are the way to go. Neither, SeaMonkey or Kompozer have them.

Mike, I appreciate the feedback. Your right in that this was a quick cut at trying to format some information that I was having trouble "posting" on this forum. I was losing the formatting and hyperlinks if I used "word" to create/format the information and then pasted into this forum. Weedy sent some information on how to do some html coding that ended up taking me more time than I had hoped. My thought was to use a web site design program that does the conversion to html automatically and then cut and paste that into here when it was done. The link showed that attempt. I would also like to create a central place where people can post pictures of their completed decks porches, kinds and styles of rails so others can get ideas. Someone did that on the kitchen forum and it worked well. Now, if the fog would go away - I could finish staining my deck and quit thinking about them.
