problem logging in on Mozilla

I could always log into your homepage on Mazilla and Internet Explorer but since the latest upgrade to Mazilla; I can no longer login on Mazilla but can on IE.
Since Mozilla is my preferred browser can you please help me correct this problem
Windows XP is my OS.

I will be interested in hearing the answer to that question. I don't have to log in to either, nor do I have to log into my computer. Logging into my computer was my option, but did not know FF and IE needed to be logged into. I use passwords when I have to, but neither of these has been required.

I don't have to log into either browser. Usually I am automatically logged into this website but Mozilla does not recognize my login on this webpage and I cannot login as requested. All is normal on IE.

I have a manual 10 ton hydraulic log splitter (purchased from Northern Tool) and I also have a problem with a loss of driving force. At first I thought that I had lost some hydraulic fluid so I bought some more fluid. Then I stood the splitter on-end with the reservoir end up (wedge down). I did this thinking that if air had gotten to the cylinder it may rise in to the reservoir. I then unscrewed and removed the fill plug - I also removed the relief valve (it has a knurled hand knob). When I tried to fill the reservoir (through the fill port) the added fluid just ran out. Then I tried to add fluid to the hole that normally holds the relief-valve - again the added fluid ran out. Repeating this procedure with the splitter at a 45 degree angle (reservoir up) gave the same results. I think this all means that the splitter is not low on fluid. Your comment about the fluid becoming more viscous when it is cold may be correct ( I have been using it in 20 degree (F) weather ). I have found that a delay interval of 3-6 min brings back a small amount of piston movement but as you can imagine this really delays completion of the work. I didn't see different oil weights in our stores so I'd be interested in how light oil works. An earlir response in this thread said bringing the splitter in the basement (to warm up) didn't improve function.

Vee, I dread making any alterations in case I mess something up after having to have my computer's memory completely wiped after I pressed something and got a shower of yellow things like Post-It notes that took ten minutes to finish downloading whenever I logged on. The lovely man who looks after my laptop could only clear everything and start my laptop from scratch. Sometimes I have to log on with the password but mostly get RP from my Favourites bookmark. What fills me with dread is the chatty "We are going to improve..." message as it never seems to turn out well for me!

Mozilla does not require me to log in automatically or any other way to use it. It may in the help section if I want to post and I don't remember logging in there. It does not if I just read there.

I looked in my password book and I do not have a Mozilla password.

Do you mean that GardenWeb does not offer you a prompt to log in with? Do you mean that it does do that but it no longer logs you in automatically when you hit the main page?

If the second, in firefox, when you choose tools:options:security you should be sure the "remember passwords for sites" box is checked and also that GW isn't in the "exceptions" list found in the same dialog box.

If you have an ad blocker tool attached to Firefox, be sure to disable it for "this page only" when you're on your normal GW landing page.
