My GPS is a Magellan RoadMate 2000 and only does one at a time. I do the same thing - put destinations in and save them then go from one to another. Since I save most all addresses I enter, the recent list and address list are pretty much the same for me. One thing that might work for you is a mapping software. I like Microsoft Streets & Trips though I hate to admit to "liking" anything associated with the one whose name must not be said. You can make a spreadsheet of the addresses you want to visit. Then you can import that list of addresses from the spreadsheet into Streets & Trips very easily. It will find the addresses and plan a route. You can even have it optimize the route for you. You could print out maps if you like or you could use that list to enter into the GPS to use it to assist you.

To be on the safe side, keep it plugged in. I also have found that if you are going on a very long trip, stop the GPS and start it over. Once we were told to get off at an exit and when we did it was clear it was going in the wrong direction. Also, have your directions printed out from google maps just in case something happens with the GPS. Sometimes there are dead zones, sometimes a new road (which is why you need to update your GPS from time to time). For the most part, it works great.

I had to reset our Garmin once, you might try that, from the help page: Perform the Hard Reset: *Note that this will clear all user selected settings on the unit Power the unit off. Remove the battery and wait several minutes. Install the battery. Press and hold (and continue to hold) the bottom-right corner of the screen while powering the unit on. Continue to hold the screen until the "Do you want to erase all user data?" prompt appears. Press "yes" and the unit will reboot. This resets all your location settings and user preferences. If possible after the hard reset, let the unit sit outdoors in the open for about 30 minutes or so to let the unit re-acquire the satellite almanac data. You have now performed a hard reset of your Garmin Nuvi 1450 series GPS unit.

We have Garmin's...(in hubby and DS's cars) Greta Garmin got me safely to Bumpkins last month...however when I whipped into the McDonalds on the ride over for an egg mcmuffin...as I was pulling out of the drive thru, I fully expected as she said "Recalculating your route"..I thought she was gonna give me grief about eating a McMuffin" and ask me for a bite or sumpin...(I hadn't bothered to ask Hubster how to shut her up)..LOL I quickly figured out that if you veer from how she wants you to go she starts griping at ya!...It was the first time I had ever used one...it still just blows my mind how accurate they are...I arrived at Bumpkins within 3 minutes of the time the garmin said I would...IT DOESNT RECOGNIZE time changes...I got to the church with what I thought was 10 minutes to spare...Alabama is an hour behind Georgia and I had forgot the time change...there wasn't a soul in the church parking lot...I flipped and sat there for about 10 minutes wondering what to do...then I picked up the cell and realized I was an hour early!
