I have Home Edition XP and installed PA 4.0. It works fine with one exception. I have multi fonts which makes it slow to use. Does anyone have an answer? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with same results. I tried to find the site "Print Artist Lovers" and cannot find it to post the question there as well. Does anyone have their address? During the install I asked for medium number of fonts the same as I had on 98 computer before it crashed. Below is the list of extra identical fonts that I have. I have : 32 copies of Arial 35 copies of Courier new 37 copies of Courier new bold 37 copies of Courier new bold italic 36 copies of Courier new italic 3 copies Franklin Gothic medium 2 copies Lucinda bright demibold 3 copies sano typewriter 2 copies Palatino linotype bold 22 copies Times New Roman 72 copies Times New Roman Bold 36 copies Times New Roman Italic 3 copies TW Cent MT Condenser I have been to MS help then "Control Panel">"Display" and also "Font" without finding any solution. Can anyone suggest a resolution?

If you're running Windows 98, your computer could be ancient from a technical standpoint. It would be interesting to know its age and see the specs (RAM, processor speed, and hard drive size). However, I suspect that, if the machine is as old as I think, it may be time for a new computer that can keep up with all the resource intensive demands of today's software. I'm not saying that you couldn't make this work, but you are at the point where you will continue to have more and more problems, and not have any tech support to fall back on. Many web sites have complex graphics and other features that will tax an older machine. It's like trying to fly cross-country with a rubber-band powered airplane.

I'm only 3 weeks into using Vista so I hate to give too many secrets out until I'm more sure of myself and what security I'm screwing up. But you can make a shortcut, right click and select properties & then follow the security tab to the differenct permissions. Take ownership and change away on the permissions. Eventually after two or three ways I can fairly much stop that you dont have permission to do this popup.... some programs you have to do it to the program folder also so the program can access and write within its own folder. My Toshiba laptop came with Vista and Quickbooks... maybe a trial, I havent tried it... it actually links to a web-addy. Here is a link that might be useful: (quickbooks - toshiba style)

Your old stat may be ok, only that it may or may not be programmed compatible with you new furnace. Why don't you post the model here or get honeywell to help you reprogram it. It may or may not be cycle controlled, just temp controlled. I may point out that some thermostats control setpoint temperatures within about 2 degrees and if your furnace is non modulating or single stage there is no control of the "on" time and the "off" time depends more on the outside temperature and how well the house is insulated so with this mode you have no control of the cycling. If you have the cycle rate control, it will override any cycle setting to limit the 2 deg differential; however if the cycle rate setting is too high, you will see that the temperature is hardly varying between cycles . You could experiment by making the rate very slow, say 2 cycles per hour and check for temp variation. If the differential is too high, then increase the rate until you have satisfactory performance. Keep in mind that this rate is dependent on the outside temperature and must be increased with decreasing outside temps.
