I was not offered the chance to not have it. It had to have been hidden until the installation began. Then I couldn't stop it without stopping the adobe. If it had been visible I would have seen it. When I saw install MF, I remembered I had tried that before and tried to find it without and could not. What about the other things in the list. I cannot find them on my PC. Does that mean I don't need them or they are not on the pc, just left overs from something else.

Hello again nice people, I have a question. Since Zep has led me through so many steps and has helped me clean up some of the junk on my computer my question is this. What will the results be if I can find no way to get Java downloaded? Is it absolutely necessary that Java be on the computer for things to work right. I see no results from NOT having it, other than not being to play some games, I play most any game I want without any trouble, most of them very graphic. I still need to delete the Firefox Beta version and keep the right version, but I've got to straightened out the shortcut Icons on my desktop, they're both intertwined. Other than that I don't seem to be having any problems. I don't know if there is something else on the Hijack list that needs to be addressed, Zep didn't say so I assume that there is not. I did get the problem with Incredimail straightened out. That also was a register error. After today I am headed for hopefully a wonderful trip to Yellowstone National Park. I will check on this thread as soon as I get back to see what you think about leaving well enough alone. Thanks again for your time and sharing your knowledge.

Thanks for the suggestions, both of you. I tried that earlier, Richard, and see some things, but not all. It's weird . . . even in Libraries in the Photoshop menu, my folder named 2015 Photos is missing, but everything else in that section (Libraries --> Pictures) is there, including 2012 Photos, 2013 Photos, and 2014 Photos. Aputernut, going that route the photo folders are not visible to me. I checked the Settings to make sure recently used files/folders aren't hidden, and they weren't. I didn't ask W10 to make any changes whatsoever. The photo option I referred to able was an app it wanted to add, and I refused. Windows 7 didn't mess with my photos, and I didn't want to "improve" on that. I'm not concerned that I've lost these pictures; I have them backed up, and I'm pretty sure they're still on the computer; I just can't get to them.

Movie Maker would be more than enough for me. I think Adobe Premiere Pro is the standard for Windows but it comes at a price too high for me. (The full fledged Premiere Pro is $20.99 per month) Adobe Premiere Rush Is it worth it? I don't know. Then there's Adobe Premiere Elements. $99.99, pay once. How does it compare? I don't know. My eyes certainly prefer it, and I like the level of detail it provides. I sit about eight foot from a 65" inch 4K TwouldV and...
