The camera finally arrived home last night. Here are some pics of my fabulous swap from Deb (M24K)

I love the photos and laughed that you repacked! I have a basket just like that on and I cannot tell you how irreplaceable it is in my life. I schlepp it everywhere. Enjoy it and the wonderful things within.

Great package, and Karen is always so generous. I saw one of those lasagna lifters recently. Will be waiting for your review :-) I make the perfect lasagna according to my all my friends and family. It's the Brooklyn Meat Gravy that I make that makes it so wonderful.

oh diana, i'm so glad you got a camera. i certainly learned for next time to always take pictures. barnomom...more than three? the cruets are one piece, the pitcher and glasses a REAL set and the napkins are the third item. the mag certainly does not count as a swap item. funny that you mention "more than three" is to this swap box and not a comment to some of the others. i must be missing something. diana, enjoy it all. i absolutely loved each item i sent to you and certainly hope you will for quite some time to come. maryanne p.s. michelle, nice dog outfit. you are obsessed with those skeletons LOLOL

Everything is gorgeous and so special! I love supporting local artists, and I espeically love the carving board. I would definitely use it because it seems to practical, and it was meant to be functional art. The same with the napkins, although I would reserve those for specially occasions. I'm a bit confused about the scale of the items because you said the napkins were oversized. How large is the cream pitcher? For some reason, it looks a bit like a water pitcher to me. I love the colors! Lars

Thanks Joanne, :) johna I bought the paint in Michaels. It was in small plastic bottles the price was cheap ( about 1.29 - 1.59 a bottle?) I think it was called craft paint, or fabric paint. I bought bronze, brown and gold. First lemme give you the entire story. These shades have been to hell and back. First I tea stained them in the sik, they look great when they were wet, however as soon as they dried, they just looked dirty....so then I dipped them in tilex and water to remove the tea stain, and was back to white. Then I painted them black (the inside as well) and they looked awful! I was going from bad to worse...So I said before I buy new ones, I'll give it another try. I then mixed the bronze and brown and painted the outside ( two coats with a brush) Then I painted the inside solid gold. My shades are a hard plastic inside and fabric on the outside. I can't believe the fabric held on with all the dipping I did, both with the tea stain and removing the tea stain. Here is a photo with the light out and no flash on the camera. This is the way it looks without the light on. I think it looks good, both with the light on and with the light off. Now about the FP lights. I am a little hesitant, cause I'm worried the bronze will disappear against the stone. So now I am thinking of spraying a rag with the bronze paint and wiping it on lightly to allow some brightness to come through??? any thoughts on this? Nothing else in the room is brass. Our FP doors are black.

The regional cookbook looks wonderful and so does the pottery. That nice big tote bag will come in very handy and look nifty, too.

I really like that blue pitcher and the square dish, they are lovely and quite unique.

The basket is a unique way to package everything too, what a nice swap package.

I am most in love with the bag. Happily picturing myself carrying that stuffed full of produce from the farm or boy stuff. That bowl is also really beautiful and unusual. From the description alone I new the box of goodies wass great, but now wow.

The bag is such a good idea! I use bags all the time..I am not a fancy purse person..
