I'd say it's still good. Mix it into the soil, water, and you should be good to go. Any kind of fish and vegetable matter is going to smell bad after 3 yrs. But it's nothing the soil microbes can't turn into plant nutrients.

Well, the verdict is in, and it is not good news. Alas, it is a Carrot Wood. I looked at the links, and a few others, and one picture from a third party source looks like it could have been taken in my front yard, so I feel fairly confident that the nail has been hit on the head. I will yank it out this weekend as it is invasive and threatening to mangroves and we are a literal stones throw from a protected river area and several wonderful mangrove lined canals. Sigh. I'm hesitant to attempt a new Oak based on our last miserable experience. I had hoped this was a nice little sucker. Maybe I'll just bury a handful of acorns and cross my fingers...

"what does carbon copy mean:?" Carbon Copy comes from the snail mail procedure of placing carbon paper betwen sheets of paper to make one or more copies at once. In the case of email it just means you're sending to more than one recipient. I've never understood why it is used as all recipients can see each others email address. BCC: If you type the address of one or more recipients, other than the initial recipient, in this space none of the recipients will see the other's address. Why would you use this?...because most people don't want their email address given to one and all.

Linda 117117, it's a little more complicated .. she is his MOM and his partner assistant who was doing her son a favor by showing us the house (she was actually very good) but he is still our agent in that deal .. and LInda Doherty .. it is very confusing .. We listed our house and it sold in 4 days because we listed it at a good realisitc pric .. we signed a contract on Oct. 29th of 2015 (contingent on us finding a house and getting a contract on it) .. closing is Jan. 11th .. we finally settled on the house we are buying on Nov. 29 2015 .. the house we are buying was inspected in May of 2015 .. when we recieved the copy it looked very suspicious to me so I went over and found none of the repairs had been addressed, the roof was repaired terrible wrong, and the heat pump was misintalled from the beginning .. the other repairs needed are minor and I can do .. so we resubmitted an addendum to deduct $2500 from the price and I would fix all needed repairs (I have an extensive construction background as well has HVAC experience) . . he did accept that addendum so that deal is set as is the deal on our house .. now we are finally getting the termite inspection I had so much trouble getting, as well as the inspection on our septic .. still haven't been able to find out were we stand on the seller getting his septic inspection .. We've bought and sold 3 other houses and never had this kind of trouble ..
