Oh yum, I love that dark chocolate with chilies, Melly sent me some and I've managed to find some often enough to keep my cravings satisfied.

Okay, I finally have time to post the pictures.

Here's the bowl, which was my main gift. It was made by an instructor at the Dallas Craft Guild.

Here's the pasta and olive oil. The oil was nothing fancy, but it was from Italy, and was such a cute little jar I couldn't resist it. With the flavored pasta, I figured an unflavored olive oil would go best. I couldn't live without olive oil - it's definately one of my favorites.

Here's the chocolate. This company was introduced to me by my daughter. It's one of my favorites because it tastes good, is organic, and Fair Trade. If I couldn't live without olive oil, I'd definitely die without chocolate!

The pasta sounds very interesting. The chilis in the pasta appeal to me more than the chocolate with chili though. I'm boring because I prefer plain milk chocolate.

What a nice bowl and pasta to serve in it too. I've never heard of red chili pasta but it goes on my list. And some great looking chocolate for desert. Very nice, I know Maria will enjoy it all.

Sally - thanks for posting the pictures for me! I'm bringing a vegetable to my brother-in-law's house today for Palm Sunday dinner and I'm using the bowl! I also put masking tape on the bottom with my name on it so that they know where its home is!

Chili with chocolate is actually extremely good! One chocolate chef in Japan was trying to intensify the chocolate flavor in something he was making on Dotch Cooking (sadly off the air now), and he found chili to be the magic ingredient. Great find of chocolate!!

In fact, I would like all of those items, especially the chili fettucine. You can tell that Sally is in Texas because chili finds its way into almost everything there, which I love!

The bowl is beautiful! What size is it? I'd like to see a side view.

OOOh yeah..I just had my first Dagoba Chocolate last week..It was a dark chocolate with raspberry..oh a taste bud heaven! I'll have to check and see if the Co-op has those two flavors on Friday when I go to the Mainland.

I'm curious about the chili pasta. Never had it, but I'm trying to imagine it.

That bowl is so unique, as somebody else said, a true work of art.

If I remember right, the bowl is 10" across, and 4" high, I think. I measured it for shipping, and then promptly forgot the measurements when I went looking for a shipping box.
