computer sending requests

Lately I have been getting this message,stating COMPUTER

IS SENDING REQUESTS when signing on with GOOGLE.

Then I have to type in the squirrely looking letters they show to prove `I`m HUMAN`.

I have run the malbyte,spyware programs and nothing shows

up!

W-XP OS. Thx for any ideas!

Do you have Google set as your home page? If so try changing to see if that affects these polling actions.
What happens if you click the red X to close the window instead of agreeing with the popup?
When you ran Malwarebytes did you update the definitions first and did you run the full scan rather than the quick scan?

well,I tried everything you suggested and nothing worked.

Take a moment and disable your anti-virus. Then send yourself a test email with a small amount of text content. Maybe a small paragraph or so. Any change. Following the test, please remember to enable your AV. DA

When you get it cleaned, my suggestion would be to "Uninstall AVG" then download, install, update Avast Free...you have to register it and its good for 14 months...they will send you an email when its time to re-register which I recall is just a matter of clicking on a link they send in the email..plus its a much better AV

Where does the original TV signal originate from. Is it a broadcast signal, or cable, or satelite. My TV Tuner card has an infrared remote with it but I don't use it. It has a reciever that plugs into the computer. But since it is infrared if I wanted to use it in another room, I would have to get some IR repeaters to send the signal back to the computer. I do this with one of my Dish Network Recievers. I split the output to two TVs in two different rooms. The Dish Network reciever box sits in one room with one TV, and I put an IR repeater system in so the remote can be used in the other room. So just get a TV tuner card that comes with a remote. call your telephone people or internet server. They can walk you through it. Our phone company will send out their telephone guy and he'll help you. It is most likly an easy fix. Our server has a program that I use. The only mail I get is people I have on my "allways allow list" Otherwise it all goes into my "spam" folder. Then I check it for other email I want or just delete it. not sure if I explained it verywell but I'd first call your telephone co.

Clear your internet temp files & all google cookies... if that doesnt work,
try running your browser in the no add-ons mode.

What browser do you use ... Mozilla, or Googles ;)

Seems to be popular problem with goodles new instant search feature.. so your broswer is sending a request maybe with each key press while typing your search.... type real slow .. and it wont happen.

I'm not sure what you mean by "COMPUTER IS SENDING REQUESTS". Do you get some kind of message, if so where does it appear and EXACTLY what does it say?

One of the current "features" of Google is a live update of search results. As you type a word, Google automatically updates the results, even before you hit search.

Although that wouldn't have anything to do with a challenge response like Captcha.
