Hello, System Restore is a recovery feature in Windows 8 that allows you to restore your computer to a previous state. I'd consider doing that first, espically since there seems to more then 1 issue. I agree with genes, you may need some drivers for the usb to be recognized. I have had that same problem many times. Usually you want to make sure you install the chipset drivers first then everything after. Look at your device manager to see what needs to have drivers installed. You can find that by right clicking the my computer icon and going to properties. Go to the hardware tab and click on device manager. Anything with a yellow exclamation point next to it will need to have drivers installed. After you get them all installed, get all of your windows updates and make sure to get a virus program on there so you don't need to do this again right away

I asked the serviceperson if he would please verify that this secondary broil element is turning on" I believe this is incorrect. Look at the parts diagram. In the Oven Parts diagram you see part #25 (bake burner at bottom of oven) and part #26 (broiler burner at top of oven). The Internal Parts diagram shows part #11 (heat element at rear of oven). The heat element is electric and its heat is circulated by the convection fan. So I think the burners and elements operate this way: Bake (bake burner only) Broil (broil burner only) Convection bake (bake burner and heat element) Convection roast (bake burner, broiler burner, and heat element) -- amateur

Everyone- thank you so so much! The recommendations make so much sense and are so incredibly helpful. I’ll definitely move the prints over and down and swap out the pillows for larger, more plush ones that pull colors from the prints. And oh my goodness, good call on the glare!! I took the glass out of one of the frames just to see and it’s a night and day difference. I never would have even thought of it. Now searching for anti reflective acrylic so my five year old doesn’t destroy the prints. The Houzz community comes through again! Thank you thank you everyone!
