Anyone have an Elux IQ Touch Bev Center - depth question?
Comments (1)Here's where it's located under the island in our soon-to-be kitchen. I should also add that the Elux Bev Center opens the other direction - this is just how the CAD drawing drops it in. Comments (2)I bought the IQ touch, I wasn't willing to spend the extra $ just to make the display disappear. I think you get all the racks being the easy slide as well, but you can replace the other two in the IQ, I didn't bother, I don't really like the easy slide, I find it slides too easily when you're trying to get something out. The IQ comes with a warming drawer which I like, I had a warming oven in my last stove & used it quite a bit. I've had this oven for about 6 months, nothing I don't like at this point (other than the rack being mildly annoying at times)....See Moreelectrolux oven wave touch opinions wanted
Comments (3)I've had mine since the middle of October. As Jache says, the touch control panels are c-o-o-l. When they're off you just have the time showing. Though I think you can actually turn that off if you so desire. Love the oven lights, they are really bright. All the controls on the ovens are electronic, so will these be more problematic? As long as your not punching the buttons they should be as reliable as any electronic board. The oven does what it's suppose to do. It does run the fan, even after you shut it off, until it gets to some preset temperature. Actually the touch controls on the navigation screen on my SUV are probably more likely to give me fits. They are subjected to hot/cold temperature changes. So, I'm not worried about the touch panel on the Electrolux....See MoreElectrolux refrigerator: Icon vs IQ-Touch
Comments (6)Thanks jdoenumber2. I think the Icon and the IQ-Touch 80 may have the same curved shelves as the wave touch. The IQ-Touch 30 has different (spillsafe) shelves, but it appears that model has less shelf adjustability, and less freezer shelving, which I think is important to have given the FD freezer design is similar to a chest freezer. Considered LG but don't want a dispenser through the door, and the biggest LG with no dispenser is only 20 cu. ft. Since Elux just acquired GE, buying a Elux fridge this month should not have incorporated any GE designs yet, which I'm not a fan of current GE features. Looking at reviews, it appears that Elux has good customer service and would hope they continue to even after acquiring GE. Does your wave touch have stainless or gray on the side? Look is important in just that the left side of the fridge is exposed to the kitchen. A stainless front and gray sided fridge would not look good. I may consider trying stainless contact paper - any experience with that?...See Morezackin
