I have the ASPIRE ONE 722- BZ454 net book...I do not see on the back of my net book any numbers like you had mentioned AOA110 or the other...so what does this mean? I have an updated net book? My battery is fine so far, but just wanted to check in the event this may happen to mine in the future. BTW, I used just once the internal camera...when I first bought this unit, and now I don't know how to initiate it. No manual or anything.

open(unzip) see I said the words baffle me, I unzip the file, and the pages are there for me to work into a word document, and then into a pdf for ease in sending, but the editing isn't the same anymore, I get the pages in paint now, rather than just the unzipped format. I can click open with Microsoft Picture manager, and still get to the editing part to go to word document, but is another step added and I would like to go back to the short version of editing. I have all the facilities to unzip files, just am wondering why all of a sudden I have paint program when I want to just plain edit the pages I have. this is all Greek to me, too much to take in, and as long as I can still edit, tho it takes longer, will stick with what I have, perhaps someday it will rite itself? You know, every time I run into problems, I kick myself, for ever getting acquainted with a computer, had I known what a hoodo it would be for me to work with, I never would have gotten into this. I enjoy it a great deal, but sometimes it is just overwhelming to me. I am a laborer, not a secretary, and hard to work with this sort of stuff. Thanks to all for your help, appreciate your interest in my problem, maybe I can find my magic wand and wave it?

Owbist it worked with a few changes *lol* I unzipped the files and drag/dropped them into a folder I named "fonts". Then I went to "My Computer", clicked on the fonts icon and went to the top and opened "file". There I found the "Add Fonts" and clicked on it. The box opened and I tried to find my fonts folder. No matter what I did or clicked on it just would not open the area of My Documents where I had the folder. I noticed my cd/dvd drive was listed so I closed out of everything and made a cd of the fonts! Now when I went back and started over I just clicked on my cd/dvd drive, clicked "select all", hit "ok" and that was it!! Worked like a charm :o) Out of curiousity I open my PhotoShop Elements, opened a photo to play with, hit the font icon and they were now listed in the font list!! I'm a happy camper!! Compressed files were far more common in the days before broadband connections because they speed downloads. I looked briefly at T-Mobile's site and didn't see any compressed files for your phone. In any case, zip files, can be expanded by Windows Vista and 7 (maybe XP) without the need for additional software. In the case of something like a manual, there shouldn't be anything in the file beside the manual.
