I know there are folks here who love Liebherr, but the one DH and I drove an hour to go see did not impress either of us at all. My favorite built-in fridges are SubZero and Thermador. I got Thermador before Subzero introduced their new line and I'm very happy. If you get an icemaker, look at where it is located in that model. Subzero puts the ice bin at the bottom in some of the freezers and I did not like that at all -- we use too much ice here in TX.

I would not chose Viking for a $500 rebate. You might look at whether you can buy a package of Subzero and Wolf and qualify for a package discount -- or get your dealer to make a deal on another part of your package.

As far as a beverage center, that can mean a different things to different people. Again, you might look at Subzero if you can get a package deal. I went with Perlick for fridge drawers that would be really cold for milk and juice, not just cool for sodas. They also have higher BTUs and quicker recovery of the cold temp which was important for frequently opened drawers. The drawers also make it easy to reach things -- they come to you instead of having to dig into an undercounter cave.

For beverage centers, make sure whatever you pick will get cold enough for what you plan to keep in it. Many of the glass front beverage centers do not get cold enough for beer.
I was considering one for my remodel, and after a lot of research decided to go with refrigerator drawers instead (but design changed so we did not have room for it).

The best brand name I found was Perlick.

I do agree with numbersjunkie with the comment above; most beverage centers do not reach a "refrigerator temperature (somewhere between 34 and 37 degrees). Because of this, sodas, beer, and water tend to seem warm (its amazing the difference a few degrees make). As far as brands that DO reach the 34 degree mark, the ones I'm aware of are Perlick, U-Line, Sub Zero, and Liebherr. Beyond that, the other beverage centers on the market tend to get no colder than 39 degrees. U-Line also offers a beverage center with an Energy Star rating, something I believe is exclusive

Perlick's are energy star rated and were years ago. I think Subzero might be, but I've not been in the market for a while.

Perlick has a digital tempo control so you can set it and see the actually temp reading. You can set it at 32 degrees if you want -- really cold.

I've been searching for a bev center compatible with our wish list: needs to be quiet, get could enough for beer, not be too pricey, and be a reliable product. First appliance store pushed me towards the True product which is geared towards the commercial market. Very pricey. Now we are considering a LiebHerr as the center gets cold and the price is at least in the ballpark. The SubZero, ULine and Perlick are out of our price range -- just can't see paying over $2K for a beer fridge. Anyone with experience with the LiebHerr?

Liebherr is another model which I understand gets to 34 degrees. As far as pricing, you may want to price around...I know specifically U-Line has a piece that sells for between $1000-$1100

We decided against a beverage center and instead went with the E'lux fridge drawer unit. This is in our butler's pantry and allows us to pack it with beer, wine, juices, milk, etc. for when we do garden/pool parties (which is rather often). We love at - and the fact that our chilling wine isn't on display. The downside? Only one temperature zone - and we're okay with that because we have a proper wine cellar.

I checked out the Electrolux bev center yesterday and was very impressed. A great look and priced the same as the LiebHerr.
