I already have the smartphone, HTC inspire4G it has taken the place of my camera since it has an 8 megapixel camera, I use it a lot to check email and my fave online sites.
I already have several tablets but I could always enjoy more LOL. I would not want an ipad but instead one of the Android 3.0 honeycomb ones like Acer Iconia, xoom, etc.

My wish list is mostly for my house this year, to get the new flooring down in several rooms and to get the garage/shop extension built, and maybe start the remodel on the kitchen. After that I won't be able to afford much else LOL

Hope you have a good list of contractors raven or good referrals from someone that actually used them and was satisfied with there work and price.

My wish is for our house to sell at a good price so that we can make our last move to a continuing care retirement center. The community has a cottage ready for us, but we must sell this property in order to make the move, especially since it involves a move to another state.

I'm wishing that this place has fibre optic connections so that we can have phone, TV, and internet all in one bundle.

I'm wishing that we can dispose of many things that we should never have brought with us on this move, and that our children will be able to help us with this move.

Most of all, I'm wishing for more years of good health, so that we can enjoy our new community.

I think I have all the "gadgets" that I need right now. Just hope I can continue to enjoy them.

zep we just finally got a contractor, one of my neighbors has a brother that is a contractor and he has done a lot of work here in this area. That is why we have put it off for so long, my husband was not going with anyone till he had the proof they were good. He really wants to do it himself but that is out of the question he does not have the time.

I sure hope that works out for you grandms! I know what you mean by wishing for good health that one is always on my list! I can't afford for much more to go wrong LOL

No farm, but 1.7 wooded acres with a beautiful little house on a private lake, and a view to die for. Really hate to leave it, and if the real estate market doesn't recover, we may not! :-( :-)

For myself, I am just anxious to get home....tomorrow. Left last Monday for the Smoky Mountains and places in between. Stopped at Churchill Downs and Old Friends Ranch, didn't expect to enjoy to the Downs, but it was the highlight of my trip after the mountains.

I am getting my Christmas wish in 6 weeks, a black standard poodle puppy. I hope you all get your wishes.

Zep, it isn't officially on the market yet. We have to wait about 2 weeks until our application to the retirement community is officially accepted. But nothing has been selling around here. In one upscale community on a huge lake, there are presently 137 properties for sale ranging in price from under $200,000 to $1,000,000+.

vala, those poodles are such loving pets and so smart. I truly love them. You lead a lovely life.

You probably don't remember the show Queen for a Day in the 1950s. The pitiful women would each have a chance to tell the audience what they needed and then the audience voted by clapping and the woman (they were called "the wife" or "the little women" in those days) would get a much needed washer or some other practical gift that they asked for.
Well, you would have won with your boots on the ground honesty. I swear, if there is a Santa then this is the year he will show himself to you!!

I unfortunately only see my grandsons twice a year as they live some distance away in another state. Once there and once here to be exact. I "wish" I had that problem.
