It is very hard to imagine the cap coming off the valve while the engine is running and not having an extreme affect on the engine running if it would run at all. I am not sure but what the thickness of that valve cap would be such that it would exceed the depth of the indention in the rocker arm, which holds the push rod in place, letting the push rod fall out and rocker arm dislocate. I would come nearing thinking that it was dislodged when someone was working on the valves and left out when the valve was adjusted. Also, a dislodged valve cap is not going to cause the engine to "makes an awful clanging noise from the engine." It would be noisy of course. Sure, put the cap back on, adjust the valves and see what happens. (Don't try to "pop" it back in place) To answer your question, it is held in place by the close fit of the parts, not enough room for it to come out. Walt Conner

How big is the booth? Black & white is good but to add "POP' have another color as accent such as lemon yellow antique roses to place around. Does it have shelves? If everything is flat on a wall you need some cutouts with some color such as sm.Victorian. Maybe cut pics of covers of magazines from thrift shop. Hot cars, saiboat in bay,Paris St. etc. but something to break up the bk/wh look. People have to envision the frames in their homes. Having pics in some will help but are they all bl/wh photos? Say a wall 5 ft tall 8 ft long would need about 5 -7 bits of color. Attach cutouts. Would be better to have some shelves as some folks do not have much wall space so few pics could grace a shelf or small table with cloth that is very "in" color. A lamp in keeping with style you choose puts light on pics & is nice if allowed. Tablecloth can be fabric sq. that is folded under at bottom & pinned on in back so looks like a draped cloth. GF & I had booth 5 ft high x 8 ft wide & 8 ft deep. You have to "grab" people's attention so need a little bling. We were selling antiques & her handmade things. We did quite well but then they sold the building. If you have couple of shelves (could be store bought) add cloth, doily, small vase with high quality silk flower ,something that spells home, on another wall maybe more formal look,small book, couple of keys with decorative look. Look at magazines, other booths etc. Just frames on flat walls won't get you the sales that you'll get if the booth has personality & don't forget the floor, is it tile, carpet etc. It needs to look good with the rest. After all this is done you must keep everything clean & sparkling, dust & blurry glass in frames says things arn't going well or sloppy space sloppy work on frames. You want your booth to be a "knockout" Don't know what area of country you are in but if most folks are into country add country touches, European look ,pipe on book etc. Check out your competition & see what the other booths have & write down what & how many of each type booth & make your's different. I would use the letter ones on back wall as when folks look in they would see the letters straight on & would be good selling point. If walls are a mess cover them with fabric or repaint if allowed don't go dark on that as would make booth seem tiny. Lots to think of but study booths you like & note what they did. You hear good and bad about all brands. There's many happy LG owners posting on this forum. There's people who have had bad luck with all brands. That's called reality. A heater isn't truly mandatory in my opionion but I think it's a good idea as long as it works on enough cycles to be functional, and raises the temperature of the water, not just maintains the temperature. The Epics have gotten a lot of good reviews, and they should, they're Whirlpools and a proven design. Samsung does not build machines for them anymore - that's old information. I understand your budget concerns and I think you're looking at good models. I do like the suggestion of the Miele though. Now $2000 for the washer is a lot, but considering the amount of laundry you do, you can justify it. However, with any of them, I would suggest you consider NOT getting a matching dryer. Save the money there and put it toward the washer. A large (7.4+) CF Whirlpool dryer can be bought for about $400-$500 or less and they're excellent dryers. I bought mine for $300 and would buy it again in an instant. If you're going HE, and especially with a heater, you need to be prepared for long cycle times. 2-3 hours worth. It takes time to heat the water and the tumbling action needs more time to clean the clothes over an agitator. You sound sold on a FL so I won't suggest looking at the HE TLs. And I haven't found anyone who can give rational reasons for steam either in the washer or dryer. I think the word is "gimmick". If you have a laundry tub next to your washer, you can run the water in the tub to get the hot water close to the washer to have it warmer going into the tub. Keep in mind the tub itself will cool the water down. That's why a good heater could be valuable. But it's not the end all be all either. Advantage sometimes? Yes. Essential? No. People have washed and sanitized clothes for years without them. And as you're looking, get figures on water temperatures in degrees, not ambiguous terms like "hot", "warm" or "cold". What's hot to you may well be cold to me.

I so want to do that with my slides. I have 10 years worth that were taken mostly by my 12 DH. I am cleaning out my mothers house and keeping finding huge boxes of slides my Daddy took. I should really let go or some bucks and buy a slide scanner. I also found an 8MM projector and home movies at Mama's house. I meant to bring them home. Thought I'd try to watch them. They are so old they might just break but if they play and are any good I might have them transferred to a DVD. I think the guy that videotapes our seminars at work does that. Maybe he will give me a deal on it. Linda
