Depends I guess on the car/color and breezes, but some trunks get mighty hot here in florida's sun. Just read arizona for kids safefty,, cars interior rises 45F over ambient in one hour, and another site about the same. You might want to look at the specifications for laptop temperature ranges,, both opperation and storage. Wouldnt want to run it when its really too hot from sitting in the truck all day. IBM technote; Note: Be aware that extreme temperature ranges within the trunk/vehicle can damage laptops. My toshiba's spec shows storage max is 149F/65C, opperation max ambient temp 95F/35C

Are you using the touchpad on the laptop or a separate mouse? There's something about scrolling on HP laptops that can be tricky. If you're using the touchpad, there should be a line on the right side that you slide your finger down. This may vary in different models, so if you told us your HP model, it would be helpful perhaps.

I got a laugh out of the title curiosity. I did shake a hand recently that could have been described as this! Rose - I love Mario and Luigi too! Annie - I've heard of that before. I hope it's not. After analyzing my hands today, my fingers normally are a little red/pink toward the nails and the cold one did appear a tad more so, and I may have detected a slight blue undertone at one point. Nothing goes numb or hurts. I've never considered going to the Dr. for it since it only seemed to happen in the winter when I was at the computer. I seem to forget about this in warmer months. As I crawled into our bed of cold, cotton sheets last night I was wondering if I should try flannel or something heated. Once I get toasty I'm good and I prefer to sleep in a cold room, but getting in and out of bed...brr. My normally warm blooded DH said he's been chilly at night lately. The heated mattress pad could work since the temp is adjustable on both sides. Yaya - That's how my current set up is. I do shake out my hand at times or rub the back of it. I'll try for a longer period of time. Once the hand gets cold it seems to pretty much stay like that. Graywings - I must be mouse scroller and clicker happy. If you've never experienced it before you might be thinking it really doesn't sound like a big deal, but it's incredibly annoying. On a scale of 1-10 annoying I'm going with a 7.5-8 lately. My hand hasn't been completely warm most of the day. Once it gets cold it seems to pretty much stay that way if I'm busy doing other things and can't baby/bundle it. O, Melissa and Ingrid, my heart goes out to you both, and heartily hope that your loved ones will be well. My own problem is pretty scary: the chest infection didn't go away and a bronchscopy revealed malign cells in my lung,so now we are waiting for the results of other tests to see what the situation is and find out what might be done. So my heart is not light. It's also hard to work outdoors since I feel so weak: shortness of breath AND my bum hip combined. Some time ago we had a storm here, too, though not as bad as Melissa's was, I think. What happened was that it snowed,and there were fierce winds, but this was before the leaves had dropped,and the temperatures were not that low, so the heavy, soggy snow caused many big, thick limbs on the oaks to split and break. There's no way I can clean up the damage in all of my woods,of course, and it is sad to see those ugly wounds on my oaks. But the bright side is that, as Melissa points out, it gives you lots of branches for terracing,etc. One of the worst-damaged trees is this beautiful oak ,and it is sad indeed to see all those raw wounds, but even with this, there is a good side: this tree does block the morning light in summer,causing a large and prominent area of my garden to only recieve sun very late in the afternoon,which was pretty bad for roses. Now, I think that since the wind "pruned" off a lot of the branches,this area may have become rather good for roses: more morning sun and filtered light at midday. Best wishes to one and all.
