Well living in a small town the mailman just opened up the front door and left a package. We were in the living room and the girls were peaking through the window and saw the package. Of course they started yelling and were so excited about the package that they got LOL.

I will post pics when Dan gets home but wanted to let everyone know that the box got here in perfect shape. Her theme was Cupcakes. I got a cupcake tower, A wonderful book full of cupcake recipes, of course the girls have already picked out their favorites. I can't wait until Easter to make some Easter cupcakes. I have to laugh because just 2 days ago I was looking at the stands. Teresa also sent a set of cupcake tools including pastel sprinkles, a frosting spreader and a package of cupcake decorated cupcake liners.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and you made the girls day too. Now to get some cupcakes made.

OH what a FUN gift! I love that. It's the little things like that, that I never buy for myself and think it's just so wonderful.

Hmm, I miss a day or two, I miss a LOT here, ladies! I've been running a lot, distracted, and just plain scatterbrained. Must be spring fever (at least, I'd rather blame that than a mid-life crisis, lol!). I have most of Debbya's box ready to go - I just want to do one more thing, then send it on its way. It's been fun learning about your names and their history. My first name has NOTHING to do with my family heritage - my parents just liked it. My middle name, Marie, is for my mother, Mary. My daughter's first name is Juliana, for the medieval Christian mystic Juliana of Norwich. Her middle name is Pearl, for my grandmother, who died years ago. Our son's name is Ian (Scottish for John - his grandfather, great uncle, and uncle-in-law are all John/Jon, and his father is Sean, the Irish form of John). His middle name is Joseph, for one of my favorite men in the Bible. Oh, how we debated about Ian's name! He's our first, and my mother was pestering us mightily about what names we were considering. So, we had an ugly name contest, and kept telling her all sorts of outrageous choices. Keep in mind, our last name is RUDD. So, Dudley Bud Rudd, Elmer Rudd, Evan Rudd (think Evinrude motors), Vladimir Rudd (just because), etc. etc. AND, we couldn't use any names that started with C or K, because that would make his abbreviated name C. Rudd. CRUD. That cancelled out all sorts of names we happened to like, for both kids, lol! My favorite outdoors tool is definitely bypass pruning shears. Indoors, I have to say that I really MISS my dustbuster. It recently croaked after years of faithful service, and NOW I realize just how much I used it to clean up after the kids, birds, and cats. Happy Tuesday! Margaret, I'm so glad it made it to you. I was a little worried that the chocolate would be smooshed by the time you opened it. But, even smooshed chocolate is yummy! :) And I thought the Groumms were so cute. I bought some for you and me and for another swap, lol! I also received my Hopes and Dreams today from Shirley!! In my awesome box were 3 of the CUTEST!!! turtles you ever did see. I'm pretty sure they are not going to make it outside, they are already sitting in my bay window...looking perfect! :) A recipe for Cinnamon Roll CAKE! DROOL! I love to bake cupcakes, and the LackBoys love eating them! What a great swap idea Teresa! Stacie, you will have a blast making, displaying AND eating those cupcakes, so will the children! I have a cupcake tower and it really makes showing them off pretty effortless.

It's not cheating to include an "accessory kit/set" with a themed gift....ahem. We NEED accessories when baking and cooking just like we need the perfect shoes, handbag, scarf or earrings with our outfit.

as a person that just loves cupcakes, what a fantastic swap box. about the only thing i don't have is the cookbook, although my stand is a little different.

great job teresa, what a wonderful way to incorporate stacie's kids into enjoying the swap.

I've never seen a cupcake stand, and so I was anxious to see the pictures. Looks like great fun for the kids - I loved cupcakes when I was a child, partly because it gave me the opportunity to do a variety of decorations.

Now I look forward to seeing what Stacie and the girls will make for this!

I'm curious about the decorating triangle. Does it have ridges for making patterns in the icing? I saw some trowels like that when I was at Surfa's last week-end.

Very interesting and unique (to me) gift! Great job!!

Macy's is going out of business here so I've been having a great time in the House ware division of the store. I bought a Martha Stewart cupcake stand for Maggie. We haven't had time to make cupcakes yet but we are ready for the right time.

Those cupcake towers can be set up for parties....makes a nice "tiered" cake! Love the idea of all the pretty pastel cupcakes you'll be making for the kids....nice - you'll have to make a devil's food cupcake and dedicate it to Jessy ;) - maria

What a wonderful theme! Cupcakes seem more practical than big cakes, and that tower makes them just as pretty. Wonderful for parties -- and how nice to have all the accessories.
