I'd get a pro to do the TUB! Oh, I'm not going to do anything...was just wanting to watch This Old House video about how to do it...They always make stuff look so simple. You don't need to delete anything. Ok, but why doesn't it have a size listed behind it? anyway...moving on to the next situation. Computer has seemed slow (even freezing today) and thought I'd check my ISP speed. So I went to Speakeasy HERE that I have used before (even in the past week or so) and it says "The Speakeasy Speed Test requires Flash v7 or higher. Please update your browser." So I did that, and it is still showing that message when I go to try and do a test. Now I can't even get Add/Remove to open in the Control Panel...maybe I just need to shut it down and come back to it a LOT later...have screwed around and wasted a lot of time, just making myself more aggravated by the minute. grrr...will check back in this evening.

D, Not to over promote or beat REVO to death I have a current example of its service. I just removed WinAmp Full with REVO in readiness to install a current version. WinAmp is a long time and reputable application so a user could assume it had a capable on-board uninstaller. As suggested above, I selected Advanced mode and then engaged REVO. After the on-board uninstaller finished REVO took over. It located 4300 orphaned registry entries, and 1400 orphaned files and folders. These are REVO's numbers not mine. All entries were easily removed. There is the worth of REVO. DA

not sure how much more descriptive I can be. the smyptoms are stated quite clearly above. the add/remove window opens up, the slider at the right is very small indicating a very long list, but beyond the first 4 or 5 programs in the list it's blank. you can move the slider, or click on the down arrow and the slider moves like there are programs in the list, but NOTHING is visible. very odd. I will follow the links provided above and see what I can see. next tuesday, I will be infront of the computer again, and I will post some screen shots. thanks, John

LOL I had a feeling that is what you were talking about, I know that pain too. I have had some serious back issues and that has been one of them. I found my miracle when I discovered decompression therapy, I went from not being able to move because of the severe pain and was scheduled for back surgery, to back to pretty normal condition in about a week or so once I began undergoing decompression, went daily for a week then a few times a week, now I know when I am needing to go by how it feels and if I don't go I pay for it. I was able to cancel the surgery and am so happy I avoided that. Had it not happened to me I probably would have been doubtful about it, but it truly has been a miracle cure for me. I have major sympathy for those with that kind of pain.
