One option if you're not finding a filler that reaches that far is to build out the wall a bit. It would be a pretty simple operation to make a little bumped-out box to set the faucet set in, at which point that might also be a nice little place to set a candle, wine glass, or soap dish.

Oops, I linked to the wrong Estelle faucet in my message above. Here's the link to the Herbeau Estelle faucet with spray. It's the Estelle 4109 that has the spray. But even the pic for the 4109 doesn't show the spray. And the Herbeau website doesn't picture it either. Sorry no pic - if you are interested, I'd suggest calling the company and finding out where you can see it.

The valve is right behind the joystick (single-lever handle). The cartridge is there too, inside the valve body, and it's removable and replaceable once you unscrew the escutcheon (round plate) that the joystick comes out of. Not a big deal. Wall mounts are what they are. It wouldn't worry me. Are you working with copper plumbing? Pex plumbing? CPVC plumbing? Some other kind? They are all good. Use good materials. When in doubt, use the better of two choices. Do a good job. That's all. Sleep tight. I opened the PDF on the Kohler site. The escutcheon is 2-5/8" (6.7 cm) diameter, and it's only 2â³ (5.1 cm) diameter for the valve with single-lever handle. Personally I'd like a One-Inch (1" or less than 26mm) cartridge for my next wall mount project. If anyone knows of one, holler back please.

Hi summery. From that thread, I actually have the Chicago wall mount (non-spray) faucet that trailrunner used, installed in 2010. (What's really weird is I also have a black recycled lab sink, very similar to hers.) Anyway, I've been semi, maybe, kind of thinking about changing to a spray head, so I'm bookmarking this. I don't know anything about Jaclo, either, but thanks for the tip. I'll do a little searching again, too. I thought I had found some.
