Images freezing

I am using Windows XP. For the past several weeks images are freezing on my screen. It doesn't matter what program I am using. I do a cont/alt/del then that screen freezes also. I have to manually turn off my computer. It has gotten where I am doing it every few minutes..help please.

that can be caused by low memory RAM and also malware infections. I would get these 2 free programs install them update them and run the scan let it clean what it finds.

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.

see if that helps, also let us know how much Ram you have on your pc and how much free space is on your hard drive.

I have 35.4GB of used space and 36.1 GB unused space. Thank you!! Charlene

Oh so cold, but what beautiful images freezing temperatures can bring. Not only that, but maybe the low temps will knock back any chilli thrips that were getting a foothold. When we were kids our mother made us ice pops with reconstituted frozen orange juice. i can't imagine it wouldn't also work with fresh juice. If the juice separates when it's thawed, I'd give it a quick whiz in the blender which both mixes and aerates it. That's how DW an I improved the taste of store brand frozen OJ in our early days.

Hi Rachel. Sadly succulents do tend to let us down at times. Strange, considering the natural habitat for cacti & succulents is made up of, baking hot days and freezing cold nights. I live in the SE of England. Our climate is very mixed. Perhaps the most important aspect is. The British climate is always moist. Our summers are moist so causing sunburn etc. Back to your plants. My experience with succulents, they are so tempemental. I have lost loads of them. Some that have suddenly died, I have cut back and soon new growth has sprung up. As a scientist, I have often taken the fallen leaves etc, cut away the rotten portion and inserted the remainder in pots or trays of a peaty substance and sharp sand. Soak the compost and let it drain before inserting the cuttings. Within a few days you will find the cuttings are producing roots. This must be natures way of continuing the life cycle. It's a good point to remember. Every part of a succulent will be a future cutting. I wish you well. Mike Allen. Plant Pathologist.

WB just said that the La nina is showing signs of collapsing and we will be in a Midoki El Niño by summer. He is actually blaming the drought and cold winter on the strong hurricanes that we had this last summer. That is what drove him to make his cold winter prediction. His last Saturday forecast was interesting. The only chart he uses that confuses the whole hell out of me is the Manjulian cycle (sp?). I have noticed the La Niña dry/El Niño wet cycle too.. Maybe they both feed into one another. I just am a weather consumer, not a meteorologist. I leave that up to others people. I can hear all those butterfly wings beating causing hurricanes and droughts months latter. I am not good at the science jargon. I guess we can only wait and see what transpires. His analogs of years past are in agreement whit the theories.

I installed and ran Malwarebytes, I'm still having the problem. I'm going to download the other one now.

you are welcome just update them and run them weekly to keep nice and clean, along with your regular updated antivirus program.
