It's not there. There's no search bar in config with FF 29.0.1 but all the browser info is readily available through the "troubleshooting info" tab. No Script is no longer listed in this current version. As I stated above...if a FF user wants it back...they can download it again. It can be found as an add-on if one looks for it as a downloadable add-on. But it was not moved with this current version when the update was made available. FF always advises the user that they will check to see if the users add-ons are compatible with the newest version before they download it. Apparently, they...in their infinite wisdom...decided No Script was not necessary with this newest version. Remember...the FF version I'm dealing with is 29.0.1. Not every FF user is working with this particular new version. I don't think FF just "blew it away". There's simply no need for it with their current built-in security and the app itself can cause problems if it's not used correctly.

I do not know what is going on but you appear to have a windows installer problem, this problem usually occurs during the installation of the printer, please take a look at the link provided but don't do anything yet. Do you have the disk that came with the printer? When did you install the printer? What appears to be going on is when you reboot the (windows installer) is trying to install the printer or something and it's asking for the disk -- I have no clue why. If you have the disk What we could do is to reinstall the printer software from disk. My answer is that every pc should have malwarebytes on it, it catches more than most any other malware scanner out there. It should not be slowing you down however because it is an on demand scanner and is only using resources when you are actually running the manual scan. Do you mean it becomes slow when you are running a scan or it is always slow? You might try doing an uninstall of it then a re-install. but since it only comes on and uses resources when you actually run a scan with it I can not see why it would have any impact at all on the pc. It could be just coincidental that it slowed at that time could be something else contributing, I would look at the task manager and see what seems to be using the most CPU resources.

Usually it's a two step process - a file is downloaded to your PC, then it needs to be "run" If you're using Firefox, after the download, click on the downward pointing arrow at the upper right on the tool bar. Then you should see a file that ends in .exe. Click on that, that will install the product. If using Chrome, a bar appears on the bottom that shows the download's progress. When it's complete, click on the box for the file to run. Either way, the same. Where it downloads to, the desktop or a different folder, is of no consequence so long as you access it from the browser when the download shows as having finished.
