Toto Toilet Decision - Lloyd vs Eco Soiree
Comments (9)We ran into the same issue when we redid our powder room last summer. We were told the 1.6 gal was no longer available so we took the risk and bought the 1.28. I was too in love with the soiree's looks to go with something else. It works great! We really don't have a debris left in the bowl problem at all. We have had it installed now for about 6 months and I can count on one hand the times we have had to double flush b/c of a debris issue. I was also worried about clogs with the 1.28. That has been a non-issue. I did have to get the plunger out once, but I figure that's pretty good for 6 months use in our most heavily used bathroom. (our previous toilet had to use it about once a week) The double cyclone technology does its job really well. I wouldn't hesitate to go with the 1.28. It has worked great for us!...See MoreKohler Rialto or Toto Supreme? Please Help!
Comments (3)Hi Taira, Actually, our renovation has been postponed until this fall. We still plan to reglaze the tile (professionally) but I have heard mixed reviews on how long the effects last. For us, given the cost difference between stripping the tile and reglazing, we're willing to risk it. As far as the toilet, we're going to go for the Rialto -- Totos are wonderful, I'm sure, but again, cost is a factor. Not to mention that our bathroom is so small that we figure an extra inch of space between the wall and toilet can't hurt! Hope that helps -- would love to hear what you decide to do!...See MoreHelp please - Toto toilet - Cotton vs Colonial White
Comments (3)I have several Toto toilets in Cotton White, and I had samples of both whites at one time. What are your other fixtures? If you are using other manufacturers for the sink, etc., it might be worth giving Toto a quick call. I remember that Cotton corresponds to one manufacturer's white, and Colonial to another. You could get this information from them over the phone....See MoreWhich Toto toilet for office renovation?
Comments (3)I just installed a drake 1.6 in my guest bathroom and I like it better than the ultramax 1.28 installed in my MB . I don't know about the sani gloss . The ultramax has sani gloss while the drake that I got doesn't ( some of them have sani gloss ) . I don't really notice a big difference . Maybe over time I will ....See Moretibbrix
