Reading PDF

I bought a "book" online.Nothing indicated that I would receive only a PDF file by email. Aside from my complaint to and about the seller, how can I go about reading this?
My available reading time is just a few moments now and then.
Printing the material is just out of the question. Buying a bound print copy from the bookstore would cost less.
Any other solution that you can suggest?

Did you try to open the file? If you don't already have a PDF reader, several free ones are available...all you have to do is google.

I should have been more specific. Yes, the file will open at/on my computer. I can read it at/on the computer screen.
Do I have other options for reading a PDF file?

Sorry i didn't know you already have this book, well now you can have backup copy of it if you lost it someday or it is burned in fire. Also other saw it also. Just a small comment here. You talked about high brix peaches, i think you mean sugar content here. I think brix orginally meant to grapes, measuring sugar level of grapes. I think high sugar level is get when there is sunny and warm weather (Not sure the last thing at this moment altough.). You said you have 3 straight wet season. I think you meant growing season by saying season. This sounds like you have had rainy weather there, many times when there is a rain, temperature doesn't rise as high as sunny weather (Altought i know southeastern U.S.A. rain little time but hard and then it might be sunny rest of the day). So if this idea is applied also to peaches, results might be less sweet peaches. I think you might be right that you can't control rain (Maybe some control can be done, but not all control). Harvestman remember, that fruit trees are mention to be many years plants, so fruit quality may change year to year. Some PDF readers have an export or Save as.... then you might save it to a different format like to .RTF which word or wordpad or many formatted text readers will recognize.

You can probably search online .. Convert PDF to
and find most formats you might want. Below is one to word but it also converts to rich text file ..RTF

What do you prefer to read it on, might be the question.. and convert it to that file format.

Anytime a document is converted from its original published format to an alien format there is a risk that the new format will not display as intended.

I have read PDF's on my kindle fire and my android phone. I would be complaining to the seller where ever you bought it if they didn't state it was a PDF and not an actual book and ask for a refund. Where did you buy the book from? Mary

As I already stated in different words, the transaction is not the question here. My need for a Kindle is not great. It appears, as I suspected, that reading the PDF on my computer is about the only workable alternative, for me, to buying a print edition. And I might do that as that is my preferred format.

Well if you don't have a kindle, android tablet, android phone, Iphone, Ipad, Ipod touch and such then yes your only option is your computer. You can read PDF on all those other devices was my point but if you don't have any of those then you can't.

I would complain to the seller where ever you ordered it if they did not state you were getting a hard copy and only a PDF and get my money back but that is just me as I don't like when sellers leave that important piece of info out.

I know on amazon if a seller did that you would first see what the seller says then if you get no where contact amazon and report them and amazon would refund your money. I don't think it's right a seller makes it to be a hard copy then they have you download a PDF if that's not what you wanted. Mary
