Hmmm, I didn't realize it was only happening here on Gweb, because I don't click the back button that much unless I'm here. This has been really bugging me! My Firefox automatically updated itself a couple of days ago, and I thought that's why it was happening. But since it's only on GW, I can't blame it on that.

Thanks, I'll follow up on the help.... I suspect it is a 64 bit issue, as my W7 machine is 64 bit (I already discovered that Palm doesn't provide a 64 bit driver for many of its older PDAs). In part answer, yes I used the control panel and device manager to investigate... used the DM to "update the driver", but I was not asked in this process if I had a 64 bit environment. On my XP machine the mouse dialog box comes up with the mouse pictured, exactly as it looks (not a schematic or icon drawing) on the W7 machine I get a generic 2 button mouse picture. I need to find some time to use the good links already provided. Thanks,

Mikie, you were right on. I had changed my mouse speed a few weeks ago and the click was set at the fastest speed. Now I notched it down a couple and it works perfectly. Thanks! Genes, thanks for the suggestion, that was my next try if this didn't work!
