If you have a wheelmouse, holding down the ctrl key and moving the wheel usually increases/decreases text size. HTH.

it may have changed the dpi or resolution settings.
go to your desktop and right click on it choose properties then go to the tab for your monitor settings and see if it is set properly for your monitor. Also there is a place that you can change the dpi setting ( I am on my linux box so can not tell you exactly where) it may be under advanced. Write down all settings before you change them so you can reset it if it does not help.
I changed the dpi setting on mine to get my fonts bigger because I have vision problems.

I can not look at IE but I know in firefox you can go into the options and set what ever font size and font type you want on all pages it displays you might want to check that in your internet options settings.

When you open programs is the font size right on those things or has it changed too, if you open a document you had saved is it changed? or is it just the browser stuff?

Ravencajun my Monitor is an HP W2207 its a widescreen. It says I can go 1680x1050 & this is what is is now with SP3.
My DPI is 96.
I presume I had it at 1680x1050 I cannot swear by it but I do know it was at the correct number. That sounds stupid I know .It is because I cannot remember offhand nos but it was the correct one
Opened a good no of documents I have saved in both Word & DPF
Some look a weird size others are fine . They are at 100% & if they were not large which was often the case I just bumped them up. Now I have 100 & 150 & I could swear I used to have a 125% I could use.
I am not computer savvy & this has really upset me.
I never ever had to keep changing Text size when I went from one Website to another & my eyesight is poor.
I never use Word for doing anything am very elderly & my thing is usuing Photoshop Elements.
Just looked with hubby at his Word stuff he is writing his Memories & its definetly OK.
Have you any other suggestions ? Do you know what a widescreen should be set at?
All I can find is HP on their site says "it goes to 1680x1050 " but does NOT say that this is what you should put it at if you know what I mean

here are the specs for that monitor and that is what it says for it.

There should be an area in IE to set what you want as the default font type and size I would try changing that to a size you like. I don't use Ie I use firefox so I can not tell you exactly where the settings are located in internet options.

If it seems to be mostly size issues on things using the browser that is where I would focus the changes.

the other thing to check is that you did not accidentally hit one of the buttons on the front of the monitor when dusting or something which would have caused it to change, you would be amazed how many times that has been the issue. i know I hve done it myself when reaching for something under my monitor I hit a button and suddenly everything looks weird. Most have an auto adjust button down there you might give that a try.
