It is actually back painted black glass. Of all the black ovens it is probably the sleekest and easiest to clean in my opinion.

You should be able to see a single clearly on the link. If not, let me know and I can probably scrounge up a close up.

Are you talking about the regular wall ovens?

The outside 3 inches or so is the clean touch stainless steel which does not show any fingerprints at all. The inside around the window is glass. The black is inside the glass. It doesn't show much of anything either.

I've seen the ss ovens on display. I'm looking for info on the all black ovens (no ss) - hard to tell from the online Miele photos what it looks like.
