Wood burning fireplace on interior wall? Prefab?

Has anyone used a prefabricated wood burning fireplace? We're planning the framing, and I can make some adjustments to make room for a 22x40 box that would fit a fireplace. From looking at some websites (Monessen) it looks like it uses a double wall pipe for venting and not a conventional chimney. Does that mean I won't need a chimney? What about the weight and support underneath it? I want a fireplace on a wall in the kitchen, and stumbled across the idea of a prefabricated wood burning model. Since it's mostly decorative, I don't much care about the efficiency of it. However, I'd prefer it to be wood-burning if I'm going to have one at all There's no other fireplace planned in the house. The one interior wall on the kitchen has an open attic space above, and it would be an easy place to run a double wall pipe up and out the roof. I don't want cost of a full masonry chimney and fireplace.
