Good timing. I was just thinking of reviving this thread. Sabra did win. I knew she should, but it still surprised the heck out of me. I thought for sure all the teenage girls would vote their fingers raw for one of their little heartthrobs. I was very sad to see this end, although the season finale was wonderful. Glad I taped it. They brought back the clogger and the odd, little guy with scoliosis. Both brought down the house of course. Mia was probably my fav too, but Wade Robson also did some pretty amazing stuff. There were only a couple of choreographers that didn't seem quite up to the task. I bet they won't be back next year. I agree about the audience voting thing. They have to do something about that. On a few occasions some of the better dancers had choreography that just didn't quite make it. People were voting for dance numbers and not dancers IMO. It still amazes me that people who adore Dancing with the Stars won't even check this program out. Don't understand it. Is it all about watching celebrities making fools out of themselves? K

I dunno Did some reading about CBS InnerTube and it said they use Microsoft Media Player and Real Media. Yet the couple of video's I've chosen to get a look see always come up Flash Player. Interesting the Video settings(link at top right of screen) say;;;; You can choose any player yet the only one listed is Flash . You might try settings and see if in their window it gives you the opportunity to select Windows Media Player as default. ~ Flash Player 9 has some issues with lots of people. Including my laptops IE for the past two months. I just used the Adobe websites special 'Flash Uninstaller' and removed it, then nosed around there until I dug up the last release of Flash Player 8, which seems to have fixed my IE/Flash issues. Anyhow, Flash Labs has a new player in the works thats supposed to be coming out 'soon'. Yet they have also been trying for about a year to fix the IE/Flash snafu obviously unsuccessfully. Apparently fixes for some have screwed up others that had no issues to begin with. But it is sort of ,, Streaming TV! & Movies! Ad supported. As has been said more eloquently already, everything is relative. Not everyone here at the Table is in the same income bracket; and not everyone that is in the same income bracket has the same recurring expenses -- for example, hubs and I don't have any kids, grandkids, or pets, so we have more disposable income than folks with the same income level with kids/grandkids/pets. If someone with less disposable income is frugal and sets aside money to buy something "expensive" why shouldn't he/she treat themselves to it? I'm going to be buying a new car within the next couple of months. Hubs has me deciding between a Mercedes C300, Lexus ES350, and a BMW 325i. I said that perhaps I didn't really need one of those three, and that I'd price out a Toyota Avalon (because I have always loved my Camry). Well, imagine my surprise when the Avalon priced out more than $2,000 higher than the Lexus. So, why should I not buy a Lexus just because some folks see it as an "overpiced Toyota with a superiority complex" when it's less expensive than a Toyota? As far as watches are concerned, yeah, I wear what some would consider an expensive watch (msrp is about $3,000). Not as expensive as a Rolex, though. It's a Tag Heuer, from the Link line: It's (in my opinion, anyway) not "flashy" or "attention getting." Hardly anyone realizes that it's a Tag Heuer - most folks think it's a Seiko! But this is the watch that I wanted because I like the quality of workmanship that goes into a Tag, and, most importantly, I like the looks of it. I also wear, right next to the watch, a diamond tennis bracelet that's over 5.5 carats. Retail price now would be somewhere between $20K to $25K. But it was a gift to me from my brother, and he paid significantly less than that to have it custom made for me 15 years ago (I have a brother-in-law who is a Certified Master Bench Jeweler). Yeah, there have been a couple of times that I've been nervous wearing it, but only a couple. Most people don't think it's real. :-)

I was sorry to see Teresa stay and Kathy go, tho I don't think either of them is a match. The fact that he can't see what a ditz (or whatever she is) Teresa is makes me a little nervous about his power of observation and discrimination. Gerry doesn't give me the creeps, but Teresa does. I don't think Kathy effectively defended or described to him why she'd told Teresa to zip it, which was too bad. On every one of these shows there is always a person who the chooser cannot see for what they are, but I think that is part of the scripted drama. As far as missing her daughter's wedding, I suspect it was probably a 2nd wedding; maybe something small and intimate, where her absence wouldn't be as much of a faux pas as at a big to-do.
