Include a photo or give some dimensions of the whole yard for a better answer. It also depends on how much traffic and at what speeds people drive on this side road. If it is a short cul-de-sac, and people have such a short distance to get to their own house that they tend to slow down, the sight lines can be much less. It also depends on how much of your inside the screen/private yard space you need to keep to make it look right from the house. Your greatest risk is that you can't see a pedestrian or dog approaching the driveway, so I'd think you would want at least 15 feet clear of the curb. Cars coming by you can usually hear, it is people,kids and animals that are of more concern. In any case, you will hopefully not be having to constantly back out of your drive onto the street, which is even more dangerous for hitting unseen things. You also don't say how high a screen you intend, as this will make a difference too.

Thanks for the reply. No, it wasn't the view button (couldn't find it?), BUT I did get my subject lines back just now after looking for the view button. I decided I didn't have much to lose, so I clicked on a little "i" (I think, that's what it looked like) that was on the top where "from" and "date" were and where "subject" should've been, and saw where I could check-mark subject to get it back. Thanks again.

"LOL" Cboy yep I am quick for sure. Ha! I followed your instructions and then I rebooted to make sure those icons would stay in place. Before I posted here I wanted to make sure that everything was working normal, after I rebooted walla those icons came back. "Smiles" Thank you so much for your help. This was a simple fix but I didn't know it at the time. I right clicked on the desktop to find that the backround had been changed, so I changed that but I had forgotten how to get the icons back. I still don't know how the backround got changed and my right clicking on the desktop was a stab in the dark, but when I did that I remembered to check the backround and that is when I discovered that what I was thinking was a white screen turned out to be an internet wallpaper backround. Myself I don't like that even being there, it gives you a false impression of something being wrong because it shows a white screen with gray lines. Thanks cboy for all of your help and I will post on the other thread a thank you to those who stepped in to help me. just stretch it to the size you like I usually hold CTRL down and press N a couple times once I have my window just right... then close them with the little x. Next windows open to the same size.
