Maybe I'm missing something here but I have been using ieSpell for years including this Vista system with now IE8. No problems that I have seen. My only thought is I could be using it differently than you.
On the forums, Saab Central specifically, when I had IE 6, I used the site ABC Spell check.. no problems. Now , with IE8, I cannot do this. So I use the ieSpell on my browser. Here, the defect, after I close the spell check, it apparently retains some control of the machine. If I do not hit the space bar 5 to 15 times I can lose the entire post...worst case scenario. Usually its just a PITA thing but annoying. And its a mystery...worse yet, attempts at communication with ieSpell have been for naught. Appreciate the responses. Thanks
have you tried uninstalling it and reinstalling? I have used iespell for years and never ever had any problems with it.
I know that IE7pro add on does include a good spell checker and it does work with IE8 that is one option, another is the google toolbar which also includes a spell checker. I personally do not like toolbars so avoid them. ieSpell have you tried right click and tell it to ''check spelling'' , iespell then spell checks?
