there is an add-on for firefox called IE view if you are using firefox and come to a site you need to use IE for you select the IE view in firefox, here is the link to that add on so you can add it to your firefox
IE View 1.4.3

and a lite version
IE View Lite 1.3.4

there is also IEtab
IE Tab 1.5.20090525

you can read the info there and view user comments plus there will be a link to the creators home page which often times has even more info on the add on, Ie view has been around for many years.

you might try firefox safe mode and see if it works that way if so it is one of your add ons causing the problem, not saying that is for sure but it is one thing I would try so you can start to rule things out. Go to Start> all programs> mozilla firefox> firefox safe mode

Firefox ... another quick way also (for many things); 1.Enter about:config into the address bar and hit Enter. 2.Press the "I"ll be carefull." button. 3.Enter browser.urlbar.maxRichResults in the Filter field. Right click and edit. 4.Set it to any number of suggestions.

Delete it. Its only use it to install that program. Once installed get rid of it. It just a waste of hard drive space and adds a bit of time to virurs scans for those to reach completion.
