Easiest way of course is to network the two computers with a switch or router depending on how you connect ... If of course you can use the program download that you have already paid for that is on your Desktop. Or you maybe can, if it has an available, or possible temporary borrow a slot and put a wifi pci card in the desktop then its simple ad/hoc to wireless transfer anything ,,, online prices I often notice are in the $15 area for wifi pci cards. Or try out openoffice.org ,, free alternate to the MS office group of many programs.

sorry Lynn we were posting at the same time and I did not see your question about open it online, I did get that add on to check it out but have not found it helpful for me, I also do not like to open anything with out scanning it so I am in the habit of downloading it to my pc then scanning with a right click using AV and malwarebytes. the advantage to open it online is if someone is using a pc that does not have any type of office programs on it or photo programs, with open it online you can use the options in it to for example open a document file using google apps there by not needing office or open office to view it. with pictures you can select to use their option of picnik to open the picture and do any editing you may need to do. So in those situations it can be very helpful. I have office programs on all of my computers so really don't need it for that and I have the picnik addon already in firefox and use it often so I have that base covered also. To find the options for that add on when you click on the tools list it is listed right there and if you put your cursor on it the options button is shown.

The link I gave you was to a rating site independent of Dafont, and if you look around that site you will find bad reviews posted for other web sites and businesses, so I wouldn't be concerned that someone is manipulating the ratings. Besides, all you have to do is Google "Dafont ratings" and you'll find additional positive ratings, like those on the respected site WOT in the link below, where Dafont has 56 ratings and all but a couple are "I trust," and where other users appear to disagree with whoever left the unfavorable ratings. It's up to you whether you want to use them, but, if you want free fonts from any source, at some point you are going to have to trust somebody. If a site has positive reviews from many sources and no bad reports, that generally satisfies me that they are reliable. When I Googled "Dafont scam" I didn't get any hits that caused me to be concerned. In fact what came up first was a link to another site I trust that had a list of free font sites that weren't scams, including Dafont. With anything I download from a web site, I save it to my desktop and do a virus scan before I use or install it. If you continue to be concerned, maybe you should just buy some font software at a computer store so you don't have to worry about whether you can trust a free or even a pay site.
