Replacing Igniter: Excellent Blue Star Service

I love my Blue Star and it fits my cooking style perfectly. I love the simplicity and power of the machine.

I cracked an igniter (my fault) and asked Matt Schutte for the best way to get a replacement. I used www.bluestarcooking.com and clicked on the online store icon in the upper right corner. Free shipping. It arrived within two days.

The bad news is that as I was attempting the remove the screw holding the igniter in place, the screw head popped off. I read before I started that this was a problem others had experienced, so I took precautions and lubed the screw and made sure I didn�t strip it. But it wouldn�t budge, and upon exerting force the screw head popped off.

I emailed Matt to tell him the problem and he immediately sent me a new burner, no charge. Thanks Matt for your very fast and helpful response.
