I would download the itunes installer from Apple and run it without uninstalling. It should recognize that there is an existing installation and do a repair or something along those lines. But I would install with the installer rather than just trying the new updates. It could be that the files you're missing are files that aren't used all the time.

I did the reboot. Anytime I reboot SuperAntiSpyware comes up and I update and run it. I checked Task Manager while it was running and it was at 86-87K. When SAS closed I could still hear it running and Task Manager was at 99K. Why was that? Other than that everything seems normal. But what might be the reason those 3 items came up, all at the same time? Thanks. Sue

I had same error yesterday on a computer I was remoted into. I forget the program install it occurred on ..... I uninstalled/reinstalled updated versions of several programs on a xpsp2 computer. anyhow.. either an update to .net framework at microsoft... or maybe simply running her Internet Explorer for the first time ever was the fix. (her browser of choice, firefox 3.0 was one of the things I had uninstalled) Can't say for sure one of those is your fix.. but, I might try updating .NET .

I uninstalled the kb3087916 which reverted back to an older Flash 18.0.0.0 or something like that. She will still get auto updates due to her not knowing what to do if I have her choose updates. BTW: I checked her Flash version before the uninstall and it had the lasted version with the work "DEBUG VERSION" next to it. Told my mom to inform me if the error appears and when Windows does an update again. If the issue reappears after another install of kb3087916 but not before, it IS that install. Whether Windows is aware of the error, I don't know, so I wonder when they learn of it, how soon a fix will come. BTW, I tried unclicking Script Debugging in IE advanced options suggested by Anne. After do so, a message came up in Mom's game site about debugging (didn't write it down), obviously due to my unclick. Didn't want mom to have to do any more steps being computer illiterate, so I went back and clicked it, leaving it that way. Hope that makes sense. I am concerned that she does not have updated Flash since I "hear" this is one way scammers and such find their way to screw with computers. She accesses her bank info on this computer. Thoughts?
