Is there a wrong thinset for ceramic floor tiles? (x-post)

(Cross -posted from the Flooring Forum. The folks over there recommended I post this question here...)

I have two bags of leftover mortar, each still half-full. One is "VersaBond Flex® Fortified Thin-Set Mortar", by Custom Building Products and the other is "Fortified Premium Mortar for Marble and Granite", by Custom Building Products.

I still have to lay some glazed ceramic floor tiles over a gypsum underlayment. I'm pretty sure the Versabond won't be a problem, but I'm not sure about the other one. Can I go ahead and use the thinset from both of these bags to do the job? Or is there any reason I shouldn't mix and match my mortars?

I opened the versabond last weekend, and the marble/granite mortar 2 weekends ago.

Thanks!

Myles
