??? for google 'book' users

The last few days, the word-search function will give me only one citation of a word or phrase, even though there should be dozens of instances where it would appear--for example a book on horses should have the word "horse" more than once throughout the pages.

Has anyone else encountered this? Has something changed that I don't know about?

The first book I selected showed on the page -- on the left side -- a note to publishers -- apparently describing how a publisher can do stuff so that a user can search for a word within the book. The second book I looked at did not have that note to publishers that permitted searches and yielded 27 hits on "horse."

You might want to check out the accumulated list on the Heritage Rose Foundation Forum. not all are links, but lots are. Another thing you might want to do is ask Google Images for specific roses. right at the top of each page on a google book there is a little bitty icon of a magnifier glass with + and - if you click on that + it enlarges the text of the book itself, click for larger and larger text. It is up next to where it says the contents.

There is a Kindle forum that lists both free and deeply discounted books, and great reviews as well. I posted this for the content of the book, Bullying, incase anyone was interested. And remember you need not have a kindle there are apps for smartphones and computers as well.
