Lookbook 'Docs' Question

It appears that when I download library books they go into 'Documents'. Is there a way to change type size or get rid of the four 'pointers' on the document display? I see I can increase the full page (100%, 125%, etc.). If I increase the page to 125% it over-runs the display area.

Maybe there's a way to increase type size on the computer before I USB it to the Lookbook?

And, how would I *use* the directional pointers on a document page?

I don't do it that way I have an SD card that I load all my books on from my pc which I have in epub format then I just stick the SD card in the lookbook and it reads them from the SD card I can load a LOT of books on one SD card. I have found that is the best and easiest way to do it. Now I have used the wifi on the lookbook and downloaded directly from the kobo bookstore to it and it saves them right to the library.
I am not sure why you have it saving them to docs, what format do you have your books in? should be epub for the lookbook.

The library 'lends' books via Adobe. They are EPub format. They load from the Adobe page via USB into the Docs section of my Lookbook.

Are you saying I can load EPub books from Adobe onto an SD card -- and then the Lookbook will put them into Library, not Docs?

I don't HAVE an SD card, but...lol

hmmmm....james.....it is a little strange to have a mango start to flower now, but sure it can happen....did you just buy it recently? I live in Palm Springs and we also have frosts as late as Feb - March. I think it's all up to mother nature as to when mangos flower - generally around March for me, but I had a couple flower earlier, but I had recently planted them last fall so perhaps they were affected by where they last lived.... Also, with a warmup in January or so, the mangos can be stimulated to throw out flowers. BUT....they generally will flower a second time if the flowers do get frosted and die....that's the good news... I think the important thing is to plan for winter protection from Dec. through March - good coverings and supplemental heat on the really cold nights - and that will give your mangos the best chance to grow, flower and fruit for many years to come.... Ajay, Yes it was from Nipa Hut, and what made think so? I got it through Ebay and seller was Nipa Hut. Andrew, Before moving to TX 3 yrs ago, I lived in Z6 NY for almost 30 yrs. Always though that growing tropical fruit trees there was a mission impossible. Other than houseplants, I grew orchids, and lot of them (250+ plants). I can imagine how hard for you to care for those trees in Z6 winter. Growing in MG mix may need to learn some watering skill. My tree is in AlÂs gritty mix, I watered it every day during summer and the tree seems not to mind at all. Sour, I pull the tree inside the garage only when temp drops below 40Â°, windy and/or rain. It is only a few days in winter. My though to prune the tree is because I want it to have some good growths next year so I can practice some grafting. You can see that this yearÂs growths are very short (about 2" long). I think it was because I left the tree on the concrete patio, under 100+Â° Texas sun. It had done nothing all summer.

Do you have an account with Google Doc (Drive)? Is it set up with the email address she emailed the doc to? If not, why not just set up Google Doc with that email addy and then it should be listed there as a 'shared' document...if I'm understanding you correctly.

Still learning terms. I've only tried to borrow one book.

Adobe sent this library book to my Lookbook in PDF format. Lookbook displays the file in Docs.

It could be this particular book just HAS tiny type. It's listed as an EPub book in the library lending page...so I wonder why it comes to me as a PDF file?

Our library is closed over the weekends in summer, so I can't ask there until tomorrow.
