Catching up

I haven't been here in ages - but apparently it hasn't been as long as I thought. I was thinking about girlsingardens and wondering, "Surely she's had her baby by now! THe child must be several months old already!" LOL Then I see an update right away - and she's still pregnant! LOL I guess by that stage in the game, it does seem like forever, doesn't it?!

Stacie, glad to know you're doing well! Congrats on another boy and I love your name choice.

Annie, I'm sorry to hear about your dad, but relieved in a way to know he got to spend his last days on the farm. It reminds me of when my grandfather was sick and eventually died and I only wish he could've had it the same way.

Well, I also have news to share LOL. We moved into a new house down the street and about three weeks later I got pregnant again. LOL A planned unplanned pregnancy, if you will - maybe not so much by us, but somebody, that's for sure! For not being as planned as we're used to, it couldn't have happened at a better time. Just as DH is going back to teaching, I'm hoping my nausea will go away - but in the meantime he's been great with the kids while mommy has been laying around most of the day. LOL So, sometime at the end of March we'll have a third holy terror running around!

David will wait another year to start school but is going to preschool again, and Sarah will be 2 in a week. I can't believe it. Right now he's entertaining me with PlayDoh shapes and saying, "isn't that insterting?" LOL

Yes, Joe Burrow is very large. Surely, this will yield an award for Richard. Based on the growth here, it is his finest creation. Of course, the awards system is a mess. Judy Davisson has consistently produced superior cultivars, but has garnered few awards. Curt Hanson withdrew from the system in disgust.

Mantis - My photo of Bucklebury Ferry looks exactly like my blooms. The plant is still growing in a pot, which may be why the color on my blooms are lighter than yours. Maybe Soli Deo Gloria is blooming earlier for me because it didn't bloom at all last year. Kate - I've never seen SC Francis Busby with that deep a color. It's good see Dearest Valentine with deep, saturated color! Mine is short this year too, and blooms have had lighter color this season. I think it didn't care for the harsh winter. Your clump of Spacecoast Francis Busby looks vibrant and healthy! Spring Mystique looks lovely, and it would be a good one to cross with your Reimer patterns! Neon Flamingo has such a pretty color in your photo! Allegheny Skyline looks fantastic. I'd love to have that one again. The last fan on the plant you sent last Spring finally died. I had eight new ones that I potted last year that rotted. They were all large, healthy fans. I think it must have been something in the potting soil that killed them. Debra

It might be as long as you thought - Stacie had Hayden and soon was preggers again, right? Maybe you're still thinking about him, huh? LOL.

Hey Phylis! Lovely to hear from you again and thanks for the kids update. Can't believe that Sarah will be two, seems just last summer you , Stacy and I met for lunch and you were preggers with her. David was in a high chair and my social security had not yet started! LOL Congrats on the new baby, you both are such lovely parents.

As Stacey mentioned it has been awhile, this isn't the same pregnancy for other Stacie...it's baby number 4 she got the really big suprise shortly after her third was born! LOL

LOL Foodonastump......it's hard to keep up with these two and then there is Dawn! LOL

As Chase said, this isn't the same pregnancy. Talking about unexpected surprises. I had my tubes tied and cut when I had the c-section with Hayden a year ago July. Then when he was 5 and half months old I found out I was 3 weeks pregnant. So yeah except for 5 months I have been pregnant 16 months. I am so excited about your surprise coming. I was nervous before Hayden came thinking we would be outnumbered by kids, but now with number 4 on the way it is evened up with me and 2 girls and DH and 2 boys. BTW when are you due, I am due in the middle of November and will have a c-section November 7th.

Good to see you back, missed you. I was feelin bummed, last time Whiteorchid and I would compare pregnancy pics, and I didn't have any CF pregnant this time aroung, now you and I can be the prego CF members with all the cravings. (Even though I want fast food, and found out a week ago that I have gallstones and will have to have surgery 6 weeks after the baby is born, so no fast or greasy food for me for another 2 and half months)

LOL I know it's the fourth! LOL I think the last time I checked in (maybe I only read and didn't post? I can't remember) you had just found out about it after your tubal. Talk about a surprise. I figured you were due around the middle of November - my birthday is the 19th :) but i'd forgotten you were going the C-section route. We're hoping to do another VBAC but we'll see - I ditched my old doctor and have an appointment with the new one in a few weeks. If it doesn't work out, strangely I'm not that bothered by it - I will just insist on better pain relief this time!! Speaking of which, good luck with the gall stone surgery. It stinks when all you want to eat is junk, probably. At least that's what I want to eat. LOL

How is Dawn, anyway? Any more little ones for her after #2? Does she still post?

Cravings ... let's see...mashed potatoes and gravy are up there pretty high. LOL I can't really think of anything specific yet, unlike lemonade and all things citrus with number one and copious amounts of root beer with number two. LOL
