Actually, this one...and other sites like you mentioned... Now that I've been looking for floor tile, many of the tile websites have fabulous bathrooms (Walker Zanger, Ann Sacks, etc.). My M.O. is to find really high end bathrooms (or kitchens) that I like, right-click and copy the picture, and then do my best to find an affordable alternative for it. I have a folder in "My Pictures" on my computer for "Bathroom Reno" and "Kitchen Reno." I just save them to those folders and then go back at another time. Or, if it's a whole website that I just drool over, I save it on my favorites bar so I can go back to it. Just make sure that you go back to each picture and give it a name that allows you to go find it again. For example, "Cartwright Vanity--Restoration Hardware" Otherwise, you'll be kicking yourself (where was that light fixture from again???). Oh, and one other thing...use the search bar at the bottom of the page...search for "inspiration bathroom" and see what comes up. Good luck!! :) Sarah

I keep most of my good spices on three little shelves inside the door of my freezer. Onr shelf has 7 spices that I ALWAYS use when I'm cooking Italian - thyme, oregano, sage, fennel seed, savory, marjoram, rosemary. I just used them tonight. Yanked them all out, took 1 tsp of each and added to the pot and put them back on the same shelf. I made indian curry for lunch. I just started this new little shelf - has curry, garam masala, mustard seeds, cardomom pods, cumin, coriander, cloves and cinnamon. (still need to buy asafoetida.) Numbers are marked on each label since it is not so easy as 1 tsp each. Guess I need to start a "Mexican". May use some of the duplicates. Yes, I have duplicates. I have bottled up in a ziplock bag and stored at the back of the fridge. I have a standard spice cabinet where I keep cheaper spices such as Adams or McCormic. Not too many of these. The ones I freeze are all organic with no preservatives.

Several years ago, I took apart all my old photo albums. They were taking up too much space. I pulled out all the photos that were the most special or just keepers, and set them aside. The rest of the photos I pulled out and rubber-banded by topic. I got a couple photo boxes and put the rubber-banded photos in the boxes. Some of the rubber-banded packs I gave to a friend who scrap-books & she used them for HER scrapbooks...with no intention of giving them back to me...even scrapped up in a pretty way. The special photos, I either framed & displayed, or scanned them on my computer so I have them preserved. I do have the nice ones in the photo boxes as well, just separated out from the masses so I can locate them easily if I ever need them. That's what I did. Happier for it. It made the biggest difference when I moved the last time and all I had to do was deal with 2 shoe-box-sized boxes...and not an entire box full of mismatched photo albums. In fact, I actually pull out my old photos more in the boxes than I ever did when in albums. The albums were just a big jumble to me.

BostonOak, I built and "shelved" a similar closet; mine is a bit wider, but not much. I used the Closet Maid shelf system because I needed "adjustable" for all the various items I wanted to store there, one of the most important being the vacuum. Just as important, I needed sturdy, flat storage for two dining table leaves. So the top 22" of the closet has two wooden shelves with 1x2 brackets supporting them. The wire shelving is attached just below the lower shelf. In most of the photo you can see only the lower wood shelf, but the top shelf and that table leaf is easily accessed and taken down. I do have to use a step stool for it, but I seldom need the second leaf. Here's a link to the posting I made about the closet. Maybe you can glean some ideas from my trials and errors. It's long and wordy, and describes the process from the mess we "inherited" when we bought the house, to it's near completion now. The closet is complete; I'm still tweaking the tiny breakfast area. I am thankful, grateful, and tickled pink every time I open my "broom" closet! I like all my closets to be white; a good strong, "kitchen and cabinet" glossy white.
