free software download needed.....

There's a software download that someone mentioned some time ago that blocks sites from putting items that I was looking at on the web onto sites I'm browsing. For instance, when I'm searching for ink or shoes, almost every site I go to will now display the ink or shoes I was looking at.

Anyone know what I'm talking about? Thanks.

I think you're talking about Adblock plus and Easylist. Are you using Firefox? Chrome? Internet Explorer? Tell us what browser you use and someone can give specific instructions.

Yep, that's the one Bob. I couldn't remember the name of it. I had it on my laptop before my recent OS re-install. I use Chrome, and IE as secondary.
